LB that's absolutely amazing. To meet your great great grandchildren :O I wonder how close the great grandchildren feel to him. That's a very big family, and so amazing to me since my grandparents are even all dead. Imagine still being alive when your kid is 82! When your GRANDKIDS are retired! I'd love to hear this mans stories, he was around during slavery, just after the Little House series is set! Amazing!
Wilder once said the reason she wrote her books in the first place was to preserve the stories of her childhood for today's children, to help them to understand how much America had changed during her lifetime.
