No, it's supposed to go there. The URL is in it where you can access the player on the chat room page, or you can do an "Open URL" in Windows media player or similar if you so choose. |

Thanks, I'm so glad you guys like the new theme !  I think it's a theme for true music lovers which we definitly all are. And Dara reminded us not to forget about the quality of the vids with her topic, so we should enjoy the contest even more. |

This edition is dedicated to music and nothing else but music.
This means that the entries will be presented with the necessarry information about the song only.
The names of the entrants will be revealed not until the publication of the results.
Of course everybody has musical preferences which are more or less known.
Nevertheless I think that this idea is worth a try.

Tasman and I actually talked about this prior to the 2009 Grand Finale, however, with an obscenely high number of entries, I didn't want the burden of having to go through the extra trouble of confusing myself by obscuring all of the entrants' identities. Maybe next time. |

Well I had the thought in my mind for the past year or so since the 2008 GF... just haven't won a contest to implement it.
Also had an internal arguement with myself whether I would enter the contest because of the unfair advantage I would have as the host knowing which entry belongs to whom.
Let's just hope my other tinkering to the system doesn't come into play before I win another contest... |

If we could find somene who is not participating and who is ready to do a part of a hosts job we could achieve full anonymity in the next edition. Btw. I don't know whether there is a scorewiz like system with the aid of which we could achieve the same goal ?
However, we could do with some more entries in this edition.
