Well here I am grinning like a Cheshire cat and still stunned after realising I had won this round of EVSC! OMG thank you all. What a great boost at this confusing period of my life what with moving and all. I really am so happy and blissed out that I won, with 92 votes to boot! I watched all the voting, read all the pages, read a PM telling me I AM A WINNERof this prestigious award. I am humbled and honoured! Cheers guys, I love you all. Now…. You may not love ME after I tell you the next category BUT I cannot do the hosting of the EVSC because of numerous reasons, the main one being… I would not know where to start and I am in the process of finding a housemate and new rental and packing and moving and MY BRAIN HURTS! So may I nominate Sillygostly as the Host and the category of THEDISCOERA (think Bee Gees ‘You should be dancin’’). If Silly cannot do it then someone else who knows what they are doing can. By the way, Tasman, you did a fabulous job and I am in awe of you and all the other’s who are so adept at doing this sort of stuff! ****takes a bow**** Thank you so much my friends on this forum!

Actually, I saw that scene on YouTube a while ago, and I HATED it. It's just the sort of lowest common demoninator "self-explanatory" brand of "humour" that Family Guy is all too well known for. I mean what the f*** was the joke? He just rips off his face and doesn't even say anything even remotely witty. And no, it's not the King of the Hill junkie in me talking as I don't care if people make fun of things that I hold dear as long as it's done cleverly.
btw, must say ...I reckon Sillygostlys entry was simply outstanding. I loved the way he worked the video, loved the bit where the plates get dropped in the kitchen, and the music was brilliant. I've never heard it before, but loved the sound. For me it was the best video ever entered in the entire competition so far There ...I just Had to say it

Actually, they were trays.
In each of my 4 live action/family/community videos so far, each of them have had at least 1 shot of an animal and 1 shot with unmuted sound (my subtle "trademark" if you will ).
I tried to be careful with where I placed that certain shot (of the trays dropping) in the video as I didn't want it to completely draw attention away from the song. It was there as a moment which I hoped would have caught viewers off-guard, and was purely tongue-in-cheek. Eh. Each to his own, I suppose.

Welcome to the 7th collossal round of the eBlah Video Song Contest! The winner of the previous contest, SuziH, has nominated The Disco Era as this contest's theme. However, due to housing woes (among other commitments), SuziH has selected me, the hostest with the ghostest to host the latest round of the EVSC!
For all you n00bies out there, the game is simple... submit a video of your choosing (as long as it pertains to the theme) to Sillygostly via PM (personal message) or e-mail. Then, when all the entries are revealed, you must then rank everybody else's videos in order of your most to least favourite (this is also to be done via PM).
PLUS... for the first time ever, if you wish to provide a brief personal video or audio reflection or commentary on your video, you are free to do so! Simply drop me an email (which you can find in my profile) if you're interested. Commentaries may be submitted either as links or as attachments in AVI, MPG, MP4 or WMV format (don't let this restrict you though as virtually any popular file format is acceptable).
CONDITIONS: - Only one video per person permitted. - You must NOT reveal your entry or your votes to anybody but Sillygostly. - You may submit videos from YouTube or Google Video.
