Dara and Matt you forget that we 'old' people were once young.  We don't spoil anything, we simply add a mature and experiencd balance to the mix.  As for ten not caring about the older demo, that's one of the reasons I rarely watch it, another being that, IMO, they screen too much inane drivel.

TEN have some programs that attract an older audience, the L&O's for example. Thursday night is their "older" night, but yet they still do quite well in the younger demo's on that night.

It really is quite amazing to see a program such as SYTYCDA get 1.6m viewers and only 20% are over 50 and compare to say DWTS on Seven with the same figures but its 50+ audience is between 50 and 65%.

I think because some older people just feel towards ten that they don't like it, and kind of refuse to give it/its shows a chance. Same as some younger people would do to sbs.

You are only as young as you feel or in this case... the shows you watch. In the 18-49 demographic I watch all but Dirty Sexy Money and I am 52 I watch just as much #10 as I do 7. I watch a little less ABC and a little less SBS than that again. I can't get 9 but will have to get someone to rectify that for me. My Monday night's viewing was all 10.

A Happy New Year

Paula, on the biggest loser, one man has lost like 11kg in 2 or 3 months, that isn't unhealthy weight loss.
