Very, very close race - if this trend continues it's anyones guess who will survive: the station with the least US scripted imports perhaps?

Nah seven will easily win. They may have the most US scripted imports but they also have a s**t load of hit aussie content too.

Not to mention this strike looks like it could be resolved very soon, it will probably be another 2 months before new episodes of US shows start coming through - we already have atleast 2 months worth of US shows so we shouldnt be largely affected. Once again that is only if this is resolved within the next couple of weeks.

Seven is Kath&Kim-less though this year - a huge 2million+ draw card for them in 2007. However I agree - they are still very strong across the board, especially in the early evening now.

See ten has shows that are more of a hit than 7, but they only have a few popular ones, while 7 has shows that consistently rate alright- great most of the night so they get more of a share even if ten has the top show

I dont actually think the fact they are Kath and Kim less this year is gonna affect them much. Its only a half hour show and therefore less ads and less revenue. Im sure 7 are spewing they dont have another series this year but atleast a movie is possibly on the cards.

Very true, Lowie_1010.

Dara is right too - Seven are more consistant across the board - especially now that they have their news and current affairs working nicely at 6-7pm. Some of their post 9.30 shows are hit or miss, but yes - they are the all-rounder.

Nine has some catching up to do, but they're still in there for the race. Ten has spectacular hits at times, but they need more of them.
