Hm... SYTYCD seems to be suffering a bit due to its poor timeslot. Why they would play a family show at 8.30pm on a weekday is beyond me.

Agreed. Almost as stupid as putting Ugly Betty at 9.30, which one would notice is no longer in 7's schedule.....

I don't know why the free to air channels keep broadcasting these low budget aussie made shows,
Is it so hard to broadcast 24/7 american shows?

Like American shows are so much better.

I just wish the formulaic crime genre would die out.

I'd prefer more Aussie shows, low budget or otherwise.  I get tired of listening to American accents.

I agree, this year has seen a massive resurgance in locally produced scripted dramas, the majority of which are outrating US shows that have dominated the past few years.

The Strip does well in first episode. I'd expect that to drop a lot, it was a shocker.

By now we've all kind of assimilated them into our lives though, you hardly notice on tv. But, there are a LOT of different accents there, you really can't just say "american" accents.

Midsommer and the Doctor did well.  Two would be pleased with those ratings.
