... Paula, TBL didn't do that badly actually, it is a Thursday night after all. It still beat Nine in the slot, was less than 200K behind Seven, and won in 18-49's.
Sorry, but what's a Thursday night got to do with anything? As it was beaten by the following, it did badly.

Apart from the repeat, the rest are not exactly scintillating viewing.

Because its late-night shopping night and earlier shows suffer because of this. This is even more evident on TEN, they appeal to the younger audience who are more likely to be out shopping. Every show on TEN between 6pm and 8.30 on a Thursday are evidence of this. Neighbours always dips on a Thursday, The Simpsons at 6 always did and now Friends does to, TBL is just another example of this (TBL isn't as bad as Big Brother though as its audience is a little more spread than BB).

The rest aren't in the same slot except for the first half of The Amazing Race (which it beat in 18-49's) and Getaway (which it actually beat in its first half hour in total viewers and in 18-49's).

Paula, you will be happy, TBL officially bombed last night. It must of been against the cricket, but still 700K is pretty bad, no doubt it will bounce back Sunday with the first Weigh In and the picking of teams.
Yeah but 10 always does best in Adelaide anyway ;p Everyone knows Friday is a ratings killer though. Yeah late night shopping is thursday, people work, shop etc, way lower numbers. And Paula, look!! 13 THE BIGGEST LOSER (AUS) Ten 957,000 267,000 300,000 159,000 102,000 129,000 14 TWO AND A HALF MEN Nine 934,000 273,000 278,000 196,000 88,000 99,000 15 LOST Seven 912,000 239,000 294,000 180,000 98,000 102,000
Lost is meant to be appealing to the younger people, guess it failed!
Not yet. It is probably getting around about the same figures as The Simpsons, and it is still kinda strong in the targetted demo that Ten wants. It is good to give The Simpsons a rest too.
You see, what Ten wants out of that 6pm slot is the alternative advertising dollars. Nine and Seven have swamped the news-demo dollars for that slot and so Ten are very happy to take the news-demo dollars at 5pm then pocket the alternative dollars at 6pm. That's why you don't see three news services at 6pm anymore.
Well here are the percentages for the last week of Summer.
ABC1 16.7% Seven 27.6% Nine 25.1% Ten 24.6% SBS 6.1%

A very close week, I hope it stays close throughout the year, I love it when its more competitive. But I think TEN and SBS' share will go down and the other three's up unfortunately.
Wow, I cant believe ten didnt atleast come second for the week. Yeah ten will probably dip this week with seven and nine improving.
I reckon Grey's could get around 1.5 mill tonight but I would love for it to be higher. Then again that all depends on how Dance goes in its second week
