Someone I know very well has seen the movie 'Cloverfield' which is touted as Action/Adventure/SciFi/Fantasy/Suspense/Thriller.

It is filmed as a home movie, with a hand held video camera. Much like the 'Blair Witch Project' you get motion sick and never really get to see the 'monster'. You see tiny pieces of the monster but never the entire monster at one time! People have been leaving cinemas in the US in droves because of the motion sickness.

The Blurb from
http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809873032/info says
Quoted Text
Five young New Yorkers throw their friend a going-away party the night that a monster the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city. Told from the point of view of their video camera, the film is a document of their attempt to survive the most surreal, horrifying event of their lives.

There is blood and guts but that's from those the monster attacks. If it really is as big as a 'skyscraper' you would not be able to see injuries like scratches and claw marks on victims because it would squish the victims into oblivion. I had such high hopes for this movie.

If you are wondering what the spoiler alert was for, it was for the fact you don't get to see the monster! One reason why a lot of people wanted to see it in the first place

Wow, that was not even close to what I expected it to be. I hate movies done with hand held cameras, I also get motion sick and dizzy. I dont think i'll bother to watch this, though I probably wouldnt have watched it anyway.
