Happy to see Sheridan gone and think it was great strategy by Cos, Gary and Nicola - guaranteed there wouldn't be a tie and saved Cosi from guaranteed vote out by the Blues if Nicole had gone against them.  Pure genius.

I just assumed that JJ would be joining the Black-Commando team. I am happy Sam wasn't booted but was sad for him having to go through the process of nominating. He was a mess. Sheridan who left last night looks fabulous since leaving the house! Cosi was so rude, what a rude man he is in general. I could not believe it when he first began saying his wife was 'up the duff' what a horrible slang expression and shows little respect for her. How about saying she is expecting your baby, Cosi, sounds much nicer and includes the baby in the equation!

Here is a news article on John Morrall from the sunny coast

Our biggest loser
12:00a.m. 24 November 2007
| By Lisa Kither

John Morrall wants you to call him a loser.

The biggest loser that is.

The Harley Davidson-riding former retail advertising manager of the Sunshine Coast Daily has headed to Sydney for the final round of auditions in Network 10’s The Biggest Loser for 2008.

He is competing for one of the coveted positions in the Biggest Loser house.

If successful, his journey to weight loss will be screened larger-than-life from early next year.

If the previous three seasons are anything to go by, the process will be gruelling with challenges like pulling planes and a minimum daily workout of more than three hours.

But for the 44-year-old father it’s a road he’s hoping will lead to a better life for him and his family with a goal of losing more than 40kg.

It’s a journey he hopes other Coast locals will take along with him.

Widely known as a “top bloke”, John arrived at the Daily after many years as the franchisee of Noosa’s Harvey Norman store.

If he makes it onto the show, his story is sure to inspire many as he strives to make his family proud.

Viewers will take the journey with contestants closer than ever before as producer Paul Franklin said new aspects to the program included an online Biggest Losers Club and more food tips shared by nutritionists and trainers.

“Next year there’s going to be a special night each week where there’s an event to really educate the public and we’ve really opened it up on that front to involve as many people as possible on this journey with as much information as possible on food,” he said.

“There’s also a lot of surprises but I can’t really talk about them yet.”

With only around 10% of the show’s staff in the loop on what’s in store but we can tell you now that contestants will be selected based more on their stories which is sure to bring a lot of heart and soul to the show which has already endeared the nation.

Oh god, the commando is going to be the black teams trainer? I just assumed the blacks would be broken up and placed within the already existing teams.

The snippet I saw was the Commando saying 'his team' and something about being back in the house, I assumed he was referring to himself the way he said it. Maybe not, but as GlentheAdmin has always maintained... Commando is doing something in the show this year, more than what he has already.

John stirs the pot

9:05a.m. 5 March 2008

It was a good week for the Biggest Loser's Blue Team performance-wise, but not all is rosy in the camp, with the Coast’s own John Morrall at the centre of much of the conflict.

In last night’s episode, the 44-year-old advertising manager publicly - who is running for election to the new Sunshine Coast Regional Council - voiced his annoyance at the fact that fellow contestant Alison had been "attacking him" behind his back.

John, who earlier won respect for his massive weight loss but has recently become known for resisting working with the group, as well as his outspoken views, also caused some upset by stating that he would rather leave the White House than wear a chest strap heart monitor.

Although John's weight loss has been on track, dropping from 150.3kg to 124.8kg - halfway to his goal weight of 100kg - trainer Shannan is "sick of John’s constant defiance", according to the Biggest Loser website.

"Jokestar" - a website user - seems to agree that his resistance to the heart monitor is uncalled for.

“He suddenly decides that he does not want to do that any more so has to leave. OMG how ungrateful can one person be?” he writes in John’s forum.

After Kirsten’s teary outburst on last night's episode, John promised to remain with the team and not let them down, but public support for John seems to be on the downturn.

“I liked john when the show began he seemed like a very kind man and felt sorry for him and his disadvantage in the game, but now I think he is just a turd, always trying to be the man and leader of the group,” says Dezza26

“He should have stayed the way he was from the start and it may have kept him in the game longer. I believe he is next to go.”

With the Black Team's arrival, the tension levels will be raised in the White House tonight, and "a shock turn of events" promises to see the Blue Team reeling.

Tune in tonight to see if John has pushed the boundaries too far and if his days in the house are nearing an end.

In hindsight (a marvellous thing) one has to wonder if the wrong (Sean) bloke went last week... At the time I was disappointed to see him go, now even more so...

One wonders with John gone if the blue team will get a replacement.. Seems only fair that they do, as black got one (JJ)... If so, I hope it's Sean, as he left in order to give John a go...  I know it'd be hard knowing how much weight  Sean had lost on the outside, but one can  only hope...

'I was no rebel'
12:00a.m. 6 March 2008
By Alicia Butwell

In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, celebrity super council contender, John Morrall will be back.

He may have been shown the door last night on Network Ten’s The Biggest Loser, but the Sunshine Coast will be seeing more of John’s vibrant character as he runs for division 12 at this month’s election.

In the lead up to the polls, John has been training harder than ever and carefully dieting after his life-changing experience on the popular reality television series.

Last night saw a dramatic showdown where John was evicted from the house for breaking the rules of his training regime.

Having suffered a suspected heart attack in June last year, John was to be accompanied by a medic when training and to wear a heart monitoring chest belt every minute of the day.

“I suppose I’m the type of person who pushes boundaries if need be to see how far I can go and I can be pretty stubborn,” John said.

“But the restrictions became tighter, yet I became fitter and I really struggled with getting my head around that.

“And there were some stages where I went and trained without a paramedic and as far as the show went, the rules were broken.”

Denying he was a rebel in the house, John said he believed he was true to himself and did not compromise who he was unlike some of his other contestants.

“I’ll say this, I was never a rebel but I was true to who I am and that was the most important thing from day one.

“But with a lot of the other people in the house, the minute the camera goes on them they are very different people, there’s some great little snakes in there,” he said.

But his stubborn streak cost him dearly last night, when John was told he could not attend the finale of this year’s series, something that came as quite a blow.

“One of the things I visualised when I was meditating was me at the finale looking fantastic.

“I had my whole picture, rocking up on the Harley Davidson, jeans, boots, a cool belt buckle and a great t-shirt, walking down and looking at myself.

“That was my visualisation and they’ve just said to me that ‘you won’t be invited to the finale’ and that knocked me on my backside,” John said.

But John didn’t walk away empty handed. He received a wealth of information about nutrition and he credits the show for his dramatic weight loss of almost 30kg.

And now as he does the family’s grocery shopping, John scrutinises every packet for its nutritional value.

“I learnt a lot about nutrition and the importance of it and how many calories are in this and how much sodium is in that and that has definitely changed my life.

“Do you know what’s frustrating? I wear glasses so I have to take my glasses to the shopping centre now,” he quipped.

While he may not be returning to the White House or the grand finale of The Biggest Loser, John could find himself the biggest winner at this month’s election.

But until the public votes, John is just happy to sign autographs and pose for photographs which have accompanied his new found fame.

“I’m still coming to grips with this celebrity status, it’s nice that people recognise you, there’s no two ways about it,” he said.

“And more than anything as far as weight loss goes; nobody can ever tell me for the rest of my life that you can’t do it, because I know that if I can do it, they can do it.

“Because I am nothing special, I am just another bloke like everybody else.”

IMHO John broke the rules set down for his being in the house and he should of been booted... Sean should be brought back in his place. He is not invited to the finale and that is justly deserved punishment in my book, just how Steven does not deserve to be invited to the finale because he walked out in the US. Truly, why do people throw away opportunities like this that is a once in a lifetime thing?

If Steven gets invited to the finale that isn't fair.
I wanted Sarah from last year to return to see if she lost ANY weight.

Not much was 'secret' about the ballot!
Everyone knew the Black Team voted for Cosi... everyone else voted for Sam... including Sam! The better strategy would of been to vote for Cosi to go to the Blue team BUT he is a great loser and player in the challenges so the Blue's would most likely not been up for eviction and Cosi would stay. I am so happy that Sam is back in HIS team that he founded that he loves so much! Weren't they naughty sneeking food but what was even funnier was that the reds stole treats and the blues stole good healthy stuff! hehehehe. Michelle had it though when she said to her Red team..... 'you are stealing ice-creams from the blues who no doubt order that stuff because they know you will steal it!' Hahahahahah, the reds have very bad habits and not much cohesion.
