After 14 years of adoring soft toys I now have probally nearly 150 (including small ones) and I just adore them, and the only reason I have a double bed is to fit my favourites on there, now I only have like 8 on my bed and only sleep with my doll which i have had since my first christmas and have slept with it everynight pratically, and my googles which I only got two days ago and my bunny which i got for easter.... But I was just at a friends house for her birthday and her mum got out this eraser collection and i was amazed at all the different erasers, she had phones, buckets, flags, letters all these different ones, dogs cats and she had been collecting them for years... And because I was so intregeed by them I think I want to start my own collection of something....

I wouldnt really count my soft toys as a collection but then i dunno, I dont want to start a collection that will cost me hundreds of dollars, somthing simple, like erasers, but not erasers... Okay well I want to know if any other people collect things, and please give me idead what I could collect!!

Well... I collect The Sims games, and I tend to buy whichever games are available for whichever systems I own (PC/Mobile/DS)

I own: The Sims Deluxe Edition, House Party, Hot Date, Vacation, Unleashed, Superstar, Makin' Magic, The Sims 2 (PC), The Sims 2 (GBA), The Sims 2 (DS), The Sims 2 (Mobile), University, Nightlife, Holiday Party Pack, Open For Business, Family Fun, Glamour Life, Pets, Pets (DS), Seasons, The Urbz (DS)

Games I don't own/yet to buy...
The Sims 2 Pets (GBA), The Sims 2 Pets (Mobile), The Sims Life Stories, The Sims 2 Celebration Stuff

I don't intend on buying any of the Pets games, and I'm extremely annoyed with the sudden change in the packaging scheme of The Sims 2 games on PC so I'm not sure I'll buy Celebrations. I will only buy Life Stories if Pizza Hut gives it away with the PC game deal they usually have every year. Otherwise, I'll probably buy it once it drops significantly in price.

Yup, I'm a nut. I've spent around $700 on Sims games so far. I reckon I've been spending more time collecting the games than I have been playing them lately.

haha... its okay i know exactly where your coming from with the sims.. I bought the sims for my brothers birthday when i was about 7 and we loved it, we then bought all the expansion packs for it played it for hours on end.. Then I bought the sims 2 two years ago and loved it, so for chistmas I bought myself this dvd disk which I got off ebay and it had all the expansion packs for the sims 2 including the sims 2.. I had to get a new computer to fit it on though but love it... Only problem is lent it to mums friends, two responsible adults although moving and a 3 year old. Came back CRACKED!! Arghh I am soo annoyed, if anything happens to my computer I have lost my game until i buy another one which I cannot get for the price i got it for!!

I also have sims bustin out on sp or something.... great game!!

Did you buy Bustin Out from Australia or overseas, because I couldn't find it ANYWHERE in Australia.

I would also love to buy Doom II and Duke Nukem Advance for my DS, and I'm extremely annoyed that the only GBA games available in Australia at the moment are crap like those 3-in-1 games, and those damn Bratz and Catz/Dogz games.

Older than my granny, who turns 100 on Saturday BTW!
My interest has been heightened by the language written in Winkler's posts. I wonder what country they are from?!

Thanks music313, it doesn't look Spanish, which I know a little of but could be Portuguese!

Welcome shayjay, to our forum.
I too fell in love with Owls, especially snowy owls after watching the very first Harry Potter!

my hobby is collecting pets, but my sister in law collects spoons, when ever someone goes anywhere they buy her a spoon. she has over 3000 spoons and had to stop as she had to many spoon cupboards she kept them in. you may want to try spoons, stamps, coins or even match boxes. anything can be fun, and like you i have a collection of stuff toys too. i have about 50 and my husband calls them dust collectors. hope you find something to collect.

My Boyfriend collects pens, apparently. He told me just recently when I went to give him one of mine. His collection is not by accident

Shame on me.

I actually don't have any souvenirs from Turkey apart from a few items of jewelery. Speaking of souvenirs though, all the Australian souvenirs we have at our place are made in China. Where would our country be without sweatshops?
