NOT!!! I think Maxis has VERY little (if anything) to do with The Sims 3 since moving onto Spore. And judging from the new trailers, the Sims look hideous, and a LOT of elements as well as ANIMATIONS have been blatantly RECYCLED from The Sims 2. I'll probably buy it when it hits the bargain bin, but at the moment, I won't be bothering with the third generation of The Sims.

The Sims 2 has been out for AGES and still hasn't hit the bargain bin. I saw it in the shops today still for $80!

24 hours until EVSC12 begins.

You need to look harder.

Dick Smith had The Sims 2 Deluxe for $20 the last time I checked. The older expansions and stuff packs started from only $10, and the Life/Pet Stories games (which are pretty much identical to The Sims 2 but contain exclusive self-contained story mode gameplay and some exclusive items and locations) were ridiculously cheap at only $10.

And The Sims 2 Holiday Edition is also really cheap (if you can find it). I'm pretty sure I've seen that for $10-$20, and it comes with the full game AND the Christmas stuff pack. Just shop at d**k Smith. They have the craziest bargains sometimes.

Hot.

No idea what that is.

Yeah, The Sims 2 Deluxe is the "actual" game, however, it comes with the Nightlife expansion pack as well and a DVD video with bonus content (such as interviews, gameplay footage etc.). It's a bargain at only $20 at Dick Smith (check the website for specific store availability).

Interviews? Why would you want interviews?
Crazy Clarks, the bargain shop place? Don't they have it in NSW? :O

Torchwood is pretty hot apparently. One of my friends is always talking to me about it because she thinks I watch it

Hot. I love the animation style. And plus it stars the girl from that Channel Ten kid show from YEARS back... (Horace & Tina I think) Angela is voiced by an American actress though (I think)

Sucks!  I hate when I can't sleep and there's nothing to do.  I end up on Linux support forums telling people how to make their machines work, sometimes I have movies to watch though, for example last night I watched I Am Legend which was a crappy name and not done as best as it could have been but still a good movie all the same.  RE Firefly, I've watched all of them at least four times... at least, because of my wikid insomnia but it still hasn't gotten old yet.  Now that I've said it, I sort of have an itch for a Firefly marathon.  I really should check out Torchwood again.  The ads looked lame and the few shows I saw I couldn't get into but maybe it's time for another go.  I only have one more full week of Monday to Friday before I'm overeas though, Oh... Anyone watching Fringe?  It really did take a more unique direction than what I initially thought.  I love the mad scientist guy.  Anyway, the Episode advertised as the next one seems like they've skipped at least 2 episodes but maybe I'm wrong.  Yeah so like I said, it's not at all Hot when you're on the internet by yourself in the middle of the night... unless you're doing something useful like learning something or troubleshooting.
