For the first time ever I have joined a footy tipping competition. I am off to a bad start, as Melbourne were beaten by St Kilda. |

Do you pick with your heart or your head? I only got 4. Bad start. I pick with my heart for the crows every week but it may cost me this year. |

I let my heart do the tipping for me this week and it picked the Crows to down that nasty Port Adelaide. Did you hear crows fans are staying away from the football because they are worried they will be targets of abuse. The race that the crows enter on is being covered to protect players from having objects being thrown at them or being spat on. |

It doesnt matter whether i pick with my head or heart, the eagles are always on top, well most of the time. I think next week will be interesting for them aggainst carlton, i honestly think it could go either way, judging from last year when they were down the whole match only to come back in the last quarter and steal a win. whooo n oh yeah mod edit: obscenity removed i hate freo, my predictions are
1. WCE 2. ST. KILDA 3. FREO - even though i mod edit: obscenity removed hate them n they suck so far. 4. SYDNEY 5. COLLINGWOOD 6. ADELAIDE 7. BRISBANE 8. ESSENDON - whoo my 2nd fav team 9. PORT 10. MELBOURNE 11. BULLDOGS 12. KANGAROOS 13. GEELONG 14. CARLTON 15. RICHMOND 16. HAWTHORN
GRAND FINAL - WCE - FREO PREMIERS- WCE BROWNLOW - DANIEL KERR |

Hoot Hoot Hoot, Eagles back on top of the ladder, where they deserve to be. I only hope Cousins is back before the end of the season, he would just put the game completely out of reach. As much as it pissed me off last week Geelong winning, im glad theyve turned around and in the top 8, theyre an alright team, same with the bombers. I cant help but laugh at Freo, Richmond and Melbourne this season.... especially Freo. |

Its funny looking back at my predictions and how wrong I got it all, but I dont think anyone thought Geelong would do so well, nore Freo do so bad. Even the Adelaide Crows arent travelling too well, might not even make the 8. Sydney and my beloved West Coast havent lived up to expectations losing games they really probably shouldnt, my only hope is West Coast make the top 4 so they have a fighting chance at back to back premierships.
Wooooooo at Ben Cousins too, even though everyone but West Coast supporters hate him - How was the frosty reception at Telstra Dome on Friday, compare that to the standing ovation at Sbi the week before. No one can deny he is a true star. |

I despise Ben Cousins, because he is a cheat and a drug addict who has been elevated to hero status as a result of that. The Crows have bombed. Even I tipped Essendon this week. I still average about 5 - 6 each week, TPO. |

Ben Cousins has always been a hero, not just a result of his come back from drug addiction. It should be pointed out he never cheated anything, they were never performance enhancing. Benny is a true star - although many such as your self Paula beg to differ.
My tipping isnt going too well more like an average of 4 or 5 per week, the embarrassing thing is my sister got 8/8 over the weekend whilst I got 4 and she knows nothing about AFL. Then again the way this season is panning out you dont need to know anything. |

The Eagles seem to have been dealt a huge blow with Kerr injuring his finger and likely to be out for up to 6 weeks.
With Judd dealing with his injury and now Kerr out, it will be hard for them to defend their premiership. Not saying they can't do it, but it's a lot harder now. |

Definately, I totally agree. Kerr is one of their best players, I reckon better than Chris Judd. With him gone it will be interesting how they go tonight at TD aggainst the Saints. Atleast Juddy and Cousins are back this week though. |

OOHHH, isnt it interesting. Hopefully this takes a little more heat off West Coast. Nice tight game tonight, thrilling to final seconds if not putting me in cardiac arrest. |

As heartbreaking as the loss was, it was a really good game last night and congrats to Port. But I think the season is just about over for West Coast with all the injuries Juddy, Cousins, Kerr just to name a few. It really hasnt been their year dogged in controversy and injury.
That said I will definately be at Subi this week supporting my team, in what will most likely be a grand final rematch with Sydney. |

If the season is anything to go by, which it usually isn't, it will most likely be Geelong and Port. I wouldn't be surprised if either lost though. |

Yep and I really can't see Port getting within 8 goals of Geelong. Port were too strong for my beloved Kangaroos, but Geelong just seem to strong in all positions. I know Port beat them a few weeks ago, but that was then and this is now. It's been a long time and they would be deserved winners, plus I can't stand Port.
Now if St Kilda would get their act together, they could win 1 for Robert Harvey, which I am sure most of us would like to see.

I think Port are more than capable of winning and by a few goals. They played brilliantly on Saturday (and I'm not even a supporter). Geelong looked "ratty" against Collingwood. |

I think Port could provide an upset, and I am definately not a supporter or even like them (especially after booing off Cousins). Even so I am going for Geelong, they definately deserve it. |

Do you think we can just about declare the winner with only a quarter and a half and a 64 point lead. I have to say this is the worst grand final I have seen...... ever, and not just because I dont support either team. wait make that a 70 point lead now. |

I don't think it was a bad grand final. Geelong were awesome. That must be the biggest win in a long, long time. Well done to them. They've broken their own winning drought and an Victorian AFL one too. |

Yeah but there was no excitement in the game, nothing like last year where it was thrilling to the final seconds. Oh and that was the biggest margin ever in a Grand Final. Congrats to Geelong BTW definately deserved it. |
