Second season of Torchwood is screening in the UK, I thought the first episode was a complete waste of space and by the 30 minute mark I was too uninterested to try and keep up with the plot. Episode two however completely different story - "The 21st century is when it all changes", this is the episode when it all changes!

Don't really care, they treated it poorly (as expected). It will probably be on 10HD but it could make it to DVD earlier.....

yeah I read somewhere it was going to TENHD only.  Which sucks for those of us without HD but is unsurprising. As mentioned, it was expected they would treat it badly.

I liked the first ep, specially james masters! It was nice to learn a little bit about jack's past.

The second was good too. A bit overdone on the plot though. I mean, we have had the same plot somewhat in Dr Who and I know it's a different show, but still. Feh from me on the plot, but WOAH on the action. That was awesome. In this weeks "Torchwood Confidential" show they showed some behind the scenes about how they did some of the street scenes and it was very interesting!

Funniest line of the series; the team have learned of an alien that not only repairs itself when injured but increases in size.

Captain Jack was on The Friday Night Project the other night & talk about screaming flamboyant behaviour

He was hilarious & and over the top friend of Dorothy's

Extremely opposite to the character he plays in real life

I watched episode 12 of season 2 over the weekend although it's a filler episode it's one of the shows best pieces. The team are ambushed and left for dead (sans Gwen who's running late due to doing the husband) and flashback to their recruitment into Torchwood.

If I had a faster internet connection and more download quota I would definately be either streaming or torrenting the series... 10 are sure taking their sweet time (theyll probably leave it to Summer on 10HD)

Could Peter File please make his way to the EVSC Thread, check out the entries, and then give 12, 10, and 8 points to my entries!

^^^^you know FTA always stuffs up shows like Torchwood in the Sci-Fi genre. They relegate the shows to later and later time slots and wonder why they're not rating! Good grief.

A Happy New Year

for best viewing, I can highly recommend watching whilst under the influence of half a space cookie

It felt like the episode lasted about three hours

Lol, my brother's friend gave us the whole series and I watched it like last month.

Overall, it was a good strong series... Can't wait to see what they are going to do with Series 3.

I've got some bad news for you maf. Rumours (a plenty) have it BBC are looking at making massive changes to the series, which is unusual for a high rating series!
