Comments on last nights episode? I liked it, but the constant flirting between the "real" Jack and Captain Jack was getting on my nerves. I felt like yelling "JUST PASH ALREADY" to the TV lmao. Although I gotta say I'm liking these weird, random storylines. Shame we didn't get to see much of Gwen though.  And it was great to see Owen get shot w00t!  |

On many episodes of Doctor Who, whenever the TARDIS (de)materialises, air is displaced causing a small gust of wind to blow people's hair and litter around. This happens to Jack at the end of this episode, making it seem as if the TARDIS materialised next to him. However, in the Doctor Who episode "Utopia", the TARDIS arrives above ground where the wind effects should not have reached the underground lair of Torchwood. (edit)

^ ^ yes it is a goof but it could be explained by the severed hand that Jack has carrying the sound through, he described it as a "doctor detector" and in both the old series and new the doctor has shown a symbiotic link with his TARDIS. For example |

So you are a channel 10 programmer... occasionally you can make mistakes, everyone does. You purchase a program that is not right for your schedule. You have to play the rest of the series in a late-night slot. You live, you learn.
Or do you?
Because I read where the schedule programmers at channel 10 really had high hopes for a season one, but unfortunately it didn't fit their demographics according to them. So how did they rectify this? They have just purchased series 2...
When are they going to show it? I'm trying to think of the rationale behind their thinking
