When Captain Jack featured in Dr Who was it the same actor?

Yes, John Barrowman plays Capt. Jack in both Dr Who and Torchwood.

And that stupid english policewoman that works for Torchwood

She's Welsh, not English.

Really liked the last episode. I always knew faeries were evil! Hehehehehe! Really nice to see an old love of Jacks too. Made feel quite sorry for him. Immortality is not all it's cracked up to be.

I thought Jack was way to over the top when first scene in Dr Who, may have had to do with not liking season 1 of the new series at all? But I'm very glad he's been toned down

Intersting. I find the character much more OTT in Torchwood.

I liked the last ep too. So many ads though. Is Torchwood 45 mins like Doctor Who? Maybe that's why they have to pad it out.

Nah, those faeries chose well.  That child was evil from the start.

I quite enjoyed Monday night's episode. However I haven't been tuning in since the pilot.

Hahaha!! That's exactly what I thought.

Interesting to hear that James Marsters will be turning up. I'll look forward to that.

'Countrycide' was a good one. You keep expecting the alien / supernatural element to turn up, and in the end there is none.

Again, the sexual stuff I thought was overdone. That dirty talk in the forest between Gwen and Owen was pretty cheesey.

I think the actress that plays Gwen is the same one who played the girl who was connented to the rift in The Unquiet Dead. I bet Gwen is a descendant of hers, and the connection with the rift is somehow passed on to her.

I told you it was a good one... probably get my vote for the best in the series.
