It's wonderful! It is also wonderful that I am not losing my mind (which I thought I was at first). Like Dara I was like... hmmmm... what's different about eBlah today? It's a good look for we eBlahers to have as we are now into our second year MarkII. We're all growed up!
Congrats Admin, you have done a good job with the revamp. What are your feelings on having a permanent WELCOME page for new members..?? A page where new members could introduce themselves and say a bit about themselves, also where we could welcome them and try to make them feel at home.
Good idea. Should we have a 'Welcome Board' folder under the Meeting Place section, where new users can post individual topics, or should a single 'Welcome Board' post under 'Chit-Chat' be sufficient?
OO it's so spiffy now! Thanks for the new member titles how cool! Only like 1 eblah guru and he has green stars (damn u norman ) hahaha I love then new banner! and yes! meeting place is 1st!
Very nice and great job. This place just continues to get better.
There is one small irk, is it possible to have a "go to last post" icon or button for each thread?
YES! . or limit thread length to about 30-31 pages. . when there are 40 + it can be a pain to find the last page . . we should be able to go automaticlly to the last (page/post)
I will be out of the country for the first 12 days of BB . how clever am I ! Smart enough to leave the 'dead-heads' behind
You can go to the last page, where it is like 1, 2, 3, 4 ... click the dots or something like that
No that doesn't do it. You can click on the last number which takes you to the top of the last page and then scroll down to the last post, but that is not an elegant way of doing it. All other boards I am aware of have the ability to click on a go to last post icon/symbol or has the text link "last post". With this you can immediately go to the most recent post in any thread, which is very convenient.
If it's not possible in this board format fair enough but if the function is available it would be very handy.
Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
In each case below for a motorbike and a media forum I'm a member of the mouse cursor points to the last post link. Just click on it and you are immediately taken to the most recent post for the thread. Quick and easy and a feature of just about every other board on the Internet.
It's a nice to have and if it can't be implemented here it is no biggy and won't detract from this great place, but having it will make the place that little bit more user friendly.

Some of your screenies are in a particular forum but others are on the forum home and thats different , if you click that itsometimes auto jumps to the last page anyway. But whats wrong with the dots, actually i just realised they now go 1, 2 ,3 4, 5..... 17, 18, 19 ......... so you just click 19 and you get the last page anyway! welll i dunno your idea is ok.... as long as we also get to keep the current method
Yeah, yeah I know I am late but I like the new look. Well done to whoever did it!
Glad to see you like it. . .'coz the 'renovation crew' moved on from here to a new place . . .(just wait 'til you see what they have done to your bathroom). .

I am having trouble downloading any pictures....any suggestions? I get error message..."Could not find the file you specified on your computer. This error is often associated with problems on this forums upload directory settings. Please e-mail the system administrator if you continue to receive this error." Program can find files but wont attach.
GOODBYE fellow eBlah's .....it sure has been nice meeting yo'all here and I will miss everyone of you
I had trouble the other day the same issue as Candy has. I tried to attach a pic to my post from my computer files and ..... got the same message. Avatars and smilies are fine.

I got the same message when trying to upload an avatar.
I hope I'm not becoming a nuisance, but I've noticed another (relatively minor) hiccup...
It has come to my attention that we can no longer have 150 x 150 avatars (as the maximum dimensions have been stripped down to 120 x 120, like my current avatar here). However, I've noticed that avatars that have remained unchanged prior to the upgrade have their 120+ dimensions intact.
What gives? I thought this was supposed to be an upgrade.
I'm not sure how to attach youtube clips.....I know Glen said to 'copy the end bit' BUT where do you start? eg with MCR.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=vl53j_-JRY4 ..I tried starting at the second 'v' but didn't work. (of course I did try to put it between the youtube icons). Is there a waiting period, before we see it posted? Some other times I did get it! Help anyone?

It should work the way you described. Click on Post Reply, click on the YouTube button, then paste the end bit of the URL starting from the second v (after the =) between the YouTube tags:
But as you can see, it didn't work for this one! lol
It might have something to do with the dashes in that YouTube code. As an experiment I'll try a similiar video from someone else that doesn't contain the dashes:
