Everyday unless I am sick. The words that Macauley Culkin says to John Candy in "Uncle Buck" come to mind 'Because it's my job'. A sorely thankless (most of the time) and badly paid (no money involved) job but one that gives me great satisfaction and a decent sized circle of friends (even if I have never met them).
I usually visit eBlah around 3 times a day. I usually check the topics/threads that I regularly post in, and if I feel that I can make a contribution to that, I will do so.
I check in at least once a day, and usually more if on computer. It get addictive...you read something, then post reply, then go back to see what someone else has said.

I am only new here, but I love forums, been on a few. I used to be a regular on Emailcash forums, but they got way to nasty with flame wars. I got banned for defending myself on an issue, served out my ban and when I came back it just wasnt the same. Other people who I had been friendly with had copped bans or were remaining really low key to avoid bans. So ever since I left EMC forums, I have been drifting aimlessly trying to find a nice friendly forum to belong to and I landed here just a few days ago. So far so good, opefully I can become a regular and have a new forum home here.

Thanks Suzi, yep that avatar is a beaut, I was using your comical little dragon at first but then stumbled across this one. Nice, I envy people with artistic talent.
Still finding my way around and sort of get lost from time to time, trying to find the last post in a thread is a bit hard unless someone can hint at an easier way....but so far I like this place and I am not a trouble maker, but you know how it is when you are outspoken, bound to upset someone. (lol)
I am glad you deal with the trolls and flamers, nothing spoils a good forum more than trolls, sometimes a good debate can clear the air but flaming for the sake of flaming is just not my style.

I'm also an ex Emailcash user...but I don't spend a lot of time any more in the forums so I come in here occasionally or as often as my job allows me to!! Sometimes months at a time but still always nice to see all the same old faces in here

Yeah it's good. I don't really have as much time of course, which is a big part of the reason I don't post here much. I post at another waste of time forum I mean :p Not to insult anyone because I certainly get out less now than I did before and I like forum posting, it just happened that when Leia was born it was the other one I was more interested in. The internet is a great tool, because if you want you can find youtube footage of Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris fighting without having to look for the rental, includeing 2 1/2 minutes of them getting ready with dubbed noises. I heard that Lee's films were never sped up but maybe it's urban legend.
I guess I'm just testing the youtube thing and I'm a bit delerious. I wouldn't be awake but my daughter woke up and it took a long time to get her back off. She calls me dada and dady and she says bye bye and she's really really happy. It's not something that can really be put across in words unless you've been a parent you know, and I used to shrug that off all the time when I heard someone say it, but she's a real joy. Hope that guy you were with is treating you okay if you're still with him, the friend with benefits. I'll go ahead and admit it, I don't trust that guy, have no real reason for saying it but I just don't. I'm kind of afraid... I feel so arrogant, not to go post in the thread but use this one, but I'm really not liking your circumstance with the biopsy Dara. Should go post in Sillys thread but I'm lazy. That’s great to hear Dean. Being a parent, especially when they are babies and pre-school aged is so wonderful. Every day is a new wonder and new thing learned with babies. I’d imagine Chuck and Bruce are fighting over Dara because she IS so hot! My friend with benefits with whom I have had a semi-casual relationship for over 5 years is now my BF! We see each other once a week on his only day off and our relationship is perfect for us both. He’s not hiding anything. I know his mum and (step) dad and where he lives etc. He is very compassionate and appreciative, loving and tactile, open and honest. Read a few of my latest posts regarding him and our relationship. I hope that doesn't mess with smaller sized resolution. Mine's not that big but I can't tell. This is already a month and half old, the newer photos are still in the camera. She's 9 months yesterday, well the 13th, which feels like yesterday for me right now, so in the picture she's 7 1/2 months or so.

My initial reaction to seeing Leia was ‘ooooooooo she’s so cute!’and she is. An absolute doll. She looks cuddly, bet she gets lots of hugs and kisses! I want one! I always knew Dean that my BF wasn’t using me more than I him because it was more like ‘why buy the Bull….’. I was the one who initiated our relationship and set the original terms.

ahhhhhh! she is too cute, she took my breath away. Look, she's standing on tippytoes! I love babies, pre school aged children. Enjoy them before the world ruins all your good work and their innocence! Children are so precious. Whaaaaah, I really want one now.
Thanks Nanyfan Yeah we are doing quite well. She finds the computer facinating, I think because it does new things all the time... scrolls text by when it boots, opens windows and closes them, has 3d objects on a flat screen, etc.

On the computer already, excellent That's a really cute pic She has very dark hair for a baby!
Kat had pitch black hair when she was born and weighed 4.5kg (10lb in the old Imperial weights) and she was almost 60cm long and looked like a buddha! Her hair was all gone by the time she was Leia's age and lighter hair was growing. She is a dark honey blonde with natural lighter blonde highlights but she's been colouring her hair since she was 14-15 so we are not 100% certain My son was born with such white blonde hair I thought he was bald at first but it was white. As he got older, it got darker and now he is 23 it's a dark brown and he gets blonde tips as his hair is wavy when it has a little length and they look great. His wife has almost black hair being chinese but gets it chemically straightened and a deep deep red put through it.

How much is TOO much??? I am always close at hand to make sure everyone is behaving, which of course... they always are! I don't check to see if someone has replied to something I posted, ever. When I come on I refresh the main page and then I check on the latest posts and if no-one has posted since I last did a check, I always get sad.
More than once a day is popular (with those of us regular ones). I always check in daily...more if around for the day. I'm an addict.....must come on before going to bed, even if I don't post something.
