SYDNEY'S A-list may have been starstruck but it took Elton John to break the ice at the Foxtel is Football party last night, greeting guest of honour David Beckham with a cheeky quote, "Allo Golden Balls".
The football king and queen of crocodile rock's friendly banter kicked off the fun at Cafe Sydney, where the A-list went ga-ga over the LA Galaxy superstar.

While the rest of the team were happy to take in the view, local eyes were fixed on the bronzed Beckham.

Ian Thorpe, Antonia Kidman, Collette Dinnigan with Richard Wilkins and Sydney FC co-owner Anthony La Paglia who used his star power to pull together last night's glamour grudge match against Galaxy, added to the stellar night.

But struck dumb by the occasion was the embarrassing Ajay Rochester, who literally launched herself at the sporting god.

The Biggest Loser host lived up to the TV show's title, gushing like a groupie and using her son as the excuse to manhandle the main man for an autograph. Drawing even more attention to herself - clearly considering herself more worthy of attention than Becks - she drew on a temporary tattoo that read "David Beckham Touch Me Here".

Beckham, however, proved the greatest guest of honour, happily posing for happy snaps with guests, including NRL star Matt Cooper, party princess Kate Waterhouse and radio babe Bianca Dye.

When Confidential cosied up to the man himself and noted what a good gig it was posing for pics for a living, he laughed and said: "Yeah I know, how good is this?"

i have always liked mark philippoussis, what he does on reality tv is usually due to the people who are in charge of the program. he is a nice guy on and of the court. and i love his big fast serve.

JODIE Foster has kind of shocked Hollywood by publicly acknowledging her same-sex lover of almost 20 years for the first time ever.

While Jodie's sexual orientation has never been a big secret, the actress has fiercely defended her privacy and has never gone public with it.

The double Oscar winner referred to her partner Cydney Bernard during a speech, after receiving an award by the Hollywood Reporter at a Power 100 breakfast earlier this week.

Jodie thanked "my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss."

I think it is hilarious that my 2nd husband was 'in love' with both Jodie Foster and Kristy McNicol, who I think is of the same persuasion as Jodie, to the point where he had a picture of Jodie in a frame on his piano. While we were married mind you! I think he may be gender confused.

I don't get why people make such a big deal over a person's sexuality.

Pamela Anderson files for divorce from Rick Salomon

THE 40-year-old former Baywatch beauty Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from her 38-year-old husband, Rick Salomon, after just two months of marriage.
Anderson cited irreconcilable differences in papers filed last Friday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The documents were first obtained by the celebrity Web site CelebTV.com.

Anderson and Salomon wed on October 6 in Las Vegas during a break between shows of Hans Klok's The Beauty of Magic at the Planet Hollywood resort, where Anderson was starring as a magician's assistant. The couple separated less than 10 weeks later, on December 13.

Salomon is best known for making a sex videotape with Paris Hilton, his girlfriend at the time, and was previously married to actress Shannen Doherty. Anderson was previously married to singer Kid Rock and Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Associated Press reports.
