Her father apparently made a comparison to the two of them due to her constant "harassment" by the media???

Apparantly, Lindsay Lohan is insisting on playing Lady Di in a new movie.

Bawhaha, how pathetic. For one she has no class, and second she won't be able to pull off a convincing British accent.

I think Charlize Theron would be a much better choice to play Princess Diana...but definately not Lindsay

Birkhead father of Anna Nicole Smith's child
Wednesday Apr 11 06:00 AEST

A Bahamas court Tuesday ruled that Larry Birkhead, the former boyfriend of late Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith, was the father of her baby daughter, ending months of feverish speculation.

The ruling wiped out rival paternity claims by Smith's long-time companion, Howard Stern, and actress Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Frederic van Anhalt who had filed a lawsuit claiming he had fathered Smith's daughter Dannielynn.

"I hate to be the one who told you this — but I told you so!" a jubilant Birkhead told crowds of media and onlookers after emerging from the Nassau court-house. "My baby's going to be coming home."
Stern emerged shortly afterwards and declared he would now seek to ensure that Birkhead was granted full custody of Dannielynn.

"I'm obviously very disappointed but my feelings for Dannielynn have not changed," Stern said. "I'm going to do whatever I can to make sure that Larry Birkhead gets sole custody ... I'd like there to be a gradual transition."

Birkhead had claimed to be the father of seven-month old Dannielynn shortly after her birth last year, saying the child was the off-spring of his relationship with Smith.
Smith and Stern had fought Birkhead's paternity claims but saw a series of legal judgements go against them.

Smith was eventually ordered to submit the child for DNA testing just days before her death from a drug overdose in Florida on February 8.

But the iconic blonde bombshell's death sparked a whole new round of wrangling over the paternity of Dannielynn, with an increasingly oddball cast emerging from the woodwork to claim paternity.

Lets hope now this child can have a 'normal' upbringing.

It's a little sad that nobody was quite sure who Dannielyn's father was from the start.

Rapper Snoop Dogg banned from Australia
Rapper Snoop Dogg has been told not to bother coming to Australia this weekend.

Controversial US rap star Snoop Dogg has been denied entry to Australia.

A spokeswoman for Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews has confirmed that Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, is being issued with a notice of intention to cancel his visa after he failed to pass a character test.

The cancellation of Snoop Dogg's visa means he will not be able to appear at this weekend's MTV Australia Video Music Awards as planned.

Earlier this month, the star received a three-year suspended sentence after pleading no contest to gun and drug charges in the US.

1970s pop star awaits sentencing for drugs

Former pop singer Allison Durbin is in custody awaiting sentencing in Melbourne after pleading guilty to growing and trafficking cannabis.

The Victorian County Court heard 57-year-old Durbin grew the drugs in a sophisticated hydroponic set-up at her Footscray West house.

The plea hearing heard Durbin, who uses her married name, Allison Giles, had fallen on hard times since being at the top of the music charts during the 1970s.

The court heard Giles was supplying notorious Melbourne drug dealer Joe Barbaro.

Barbaro, who is serving five years' jail for drug offences, became known when his infant daughter Montana was kidnapped in 2004.

The court heard Durbin is a recovering heroin addict who had a nervous break-down and suffers from depression.

She has been on a disability pension for six years.

Durbin won the Queen of Pop title in 1969, 1970 and 1971.

The plea hearing continues.

Pop queen Durbin jailed for cannabis trafficking

Former queen of pop Allison Durbin has been jailed for 12 months for trafficking drugs.

The 57-year-old , whose hits include Put Your Hand in the Hand and I Have Loved Me a Man, pleaded guilty last year to selling cannabis from a house in the Melbourne suburb of West Footscray.

The committal hearing also included co-accused Joe Barbaro, whose baby daughter Montana Barbaro was kidnapped in 2004.

Barbaro elected to go to the County Court on charges of trafficking a commercial quantity of ecstasy, amphetamines and cannabis.

The court heard police suspected Durbin was supplying Barbaro with cannabis two years ago and a detective alleged there was a recorded conversation between the pair, arranging a meeting for a transaction.

What an idiot.

If she was that desperate for money, all she had to do was release a few "best of" albums.

Hey, Nikki Webster and The Saddle Club did it.

Katie Holmes gets Posh haircut
Thursday Jun 14 05:00 AEST
By ninemsn staff

The Beckhams haven't arrived in Los Angeles yet, but they are already having an impact on Hollywood fashion.

Katie Holmes was spotted by photographers in Beverly Hills at the aptly named restaurant Cuts, sporting a new hairdo that looks quite Posh.

Holmes emerged with her hair cropped short and swept to the side after having a romantic dinner with husband Tom Cruise.

But unlike her friend Victoria, Holmes hasn't bleached her brunette locks.

Holmes is no stranger to shadowing the former Spice Girl, in February she appointed Posh as her stylist for a photoshoot in Harpers Bazaar magazine.

Although Posh has reportedly denied efforts by Cruise and Holmes to convert her to Scientology, the celebrities have remained good friends.

"I really like Katie, she's sweet and we speak on the phone about fashion and the kids," Posh was quoted as saying.

"We talk about what she's doing script-wise and she's helped me research the boys' schools.

"All this talk about a marriage crisis with them is as true as a marriage crisis with us. People just don't want to believe that they're nice people and they're happy together. Just like people don't want to believe that about me and David."

pic from same site.

I like her new 'do' and it doesn't look anything like super skinny Victoria Beckham's hair! Read readers comments after the report!

Gee, I felt sorry for Brooke Satchwell after that nasty bad boy, Matthew Newton, sadly was abused by him. I don't really feel sorry for Matt though.

Today, Brooke has spoken out to abused people to report their own domestic violence issue against their so-called partners.

I have never been in an abused relationship and hopefully not one day. I think Brooke made a brave move to go out there in the media and to tell people reading the papers.

Good onya, Brooke. You are a great gal !!

Kylie Minogue lays down the law to 'love rat'
July 22, 2007 12:00am

KYLIE Minogue has re-united with love-rat Olivier Martinez for a "glorious summer" - but only on on the condition that he "settle-down" and propose, according to reports in London.

Minogue has also demanded that Martinez - whose rumoured infidelity led to the end of their four-year-relationship in February - not put himself in a position where he be photographed with other women.

In return, friends say she has promised to stop pestering him to have children, which was another factor in their split.

Friends said that after a string of heart-to-heart talks with Martinez, 41, she has also agreed to cut back on her workload.

"Kylie sees Olivier as the love of her life," a friend told a London newspaper.

"He made her feel like a woman again when she lost her hair.

"They still have a massive connection.

"After the split, they started texting each other and would reminisce.

"Kylie told him she missed him dearly and suggested that they should have what she called a 'glorious summer'."

The pair have seen each other several times in Paris in recent weeks but they have so far managed to avoid being photographed together.

Martinez and Minogue, 39, ended their four-year romance - during which he had supported her through her breast cancer battle - amid reports that the actor cheated on her with Israeli model Sarai Givati, 24.

Now they have made plans to spend what's left of summer cruising off the Amalfi Coast.

"Kylie has said to him that will have been a three-month trial, and he has to make up his mind pretty quickly whether he wants to marry her," the friend added.
