Terrorism can be as little as a bomb threat/hoax in a local shopping centre or school to the actual act that we saw on September 11th 2001. It only takes one idiot ringing up a school saying there is a bomb somewhere on the school grounds to incite terror in people. That is terrorism, anything that creates terror IS actually Terrorism.

New wondercup undies give men a boost Wednesday Nov 1 21:01 AEDT Penis envy will take on a new meaning with the release of the men's equivalent to the Wonderbra.
Australian underwear company aussieBum has released its Patriot range of undies for men wanting to make their package look bigger.
"It basically lifts, separates and extends," said aussieBum founder Sean Ashby.
"This design uses all of the natural assets of the person, whether they be big, small or indifferent."
The underwear features a 'wondercup', a pouch used to "separate and stop squashing".
The range was launched last week and already the company has sold more than 50,000 pairs in Australia and overseas.
Ashby said the design had attracted a lot of interest in the United States and Europe.
Locally, the design will feature in a major advertising campaign, including a billboard on Sydney's busy arterial highway Parramatta Road.
"We know that the billboard is going to cause a bit of attention and controversy," said Ashby.
The marketing campaign features the slogan: "The new wondercup technology in these attention-grabbing, all-cotton Patriot briefs will have you seriously looking bigger and feeling amazing".
AussieBum is manufactured in Australia with the business run completely out of the company's headquarters in the inner-west Sydney suburb of Leichhardt.
The brand is sold in some of the biggest department stores in the world including Selfridges and KaDeWe and is distributed to more than 70 countries via internet sales.
In Australia, aussieBum is sold mostly over the internet with the exception of one store in Byron Bay. İAAP 2006
I didn't get Glass House axed: PM We've known for a while. They have said we've had five great years and that's it. They haven't given us or anyone else a very good reason
This really ticked me off. I enjoyed watching the Glass House, one of the few remaining poltical satire shows on TV and now the "stupid, no-sense-of-humour, life should be like it was in the 50's, money-hungry" right-wing censors have axed it!
THE motorist who jumped onto a moving semi-trailer after seeing the vehicle swerving across the road with the driver unconscious at the wheel has said he was just doing what "any decent human being" would have done.
Local miner Mick Thompson was driving along a main road outside Cessnock in New South Wales at about 6.50am (AEDT) when he saw the truck driver slumped over the wheel of his semi, which was heading in the opposite direction, the NSW ambulance service has said.
He immediately did a U-turn, then drove past the truck and parked ahead of it. He then ran towards the out-of-control semi and leapt aboard.
"I opened the door and dropped it into gear and put my foot on the floor on the brake and stopped the truck," Mr Thompson has said on Southern Cross radio.
"I just pushed him off the steering wheel onto the passenger side and just knocked the truck into neutral and went from there."
He called an ambulance and waited with the ailing truckie, a middle-aged diabetic who had fallen unconscious because of low blood sugar levels, until it arrived.
The spokesman has said Mr Thompson's action probably saved the truckie's life. "It was a huge semi so who knows what could have happened," an ambulance spokesman has said.
Without medical attention, an injection of glucose into a muscle, the truckie may have lapsed into a potentially fatal diabetic coma.
Mr Thomspon then drove off without giving his identity.
"He told the paramedics what had happened, then drove off. He didn't stick around," the spokesman has said.
Mr Thomspon, who has said he has never driven a truck before, went straight to work 7km underground at the Hunter Valley's Austar mine after the amazing feat and has denied he is a hero.
"It's something that any sort of decent human being would have done," he has said.
The driver was treated at the scene and had partially regained consciousness by the time he reached Cessnock Hospital.
However a hospital spokeswoman later said the man is in a serious condition in a "high dependency" unit, which she has described as "one step away from intensive care".
The ambulance service has said it is possible the truckie will not remember the actions of his saviour.
He has said diabetics who have lapsed into unconsciousness are often "a little vague and disorientated" when they wake up.
He has said that even though ambulance officers had probably told him what had happened as he was regaining consciousness, "I doubt if he would remember anything about it".

I see, this posh college has placed a ban on hugging !!
Aww, that is so sad
I know, this is crazy, but what if there is a student that is going through a rough time at school, grieving a loss of a loved one or someone showing affection to their partners.
Gee, what next? Banning love letters, holding hands, kissing or blow kisses at school?
Those things were banned in my daughter's high school in the early 90's. No kissing, hugging, holding hands or other forms of affection allowed. I remember one couple in her year 10 at the time were so 'in love' that they almost needed a room! They got engaged to one another while still in high school. It is mainly thanks to them that the showing of affection was banned at school.
More news today.... I'm running for office: fire chief
November 3, 2006 - 9:18AM
the Rural Fire Service Commissioner, Phil Koperberg, today confirmed he would stand for preselection as a Labor candidate for the NSW seat of the Blue Mountains in next year's state election.
Mr Koperberg said he would formally announce his decision to join the Labor party and take aim at a seat in parliament at 10.30am this morning.
NSW Attorney-General and Environment Minister Bob Debus announced earlier this week he would not recontest the Blue Mountains seat, which he holds by a 14.8 per cent margin.
Mr Koperberg, aged in his early 60s, is well known to the NSW public through his television and radio appearances in his role as rural fire service chief, which he has held since 1985.
He says he will take leave from his RFS commissioner role on December 15 if he wins preselection and quit his job if he wins the seat next March. Mr Koperberg said if elected, his priority would be supporting emergency workers.
"It's one of the hardest decisions I have ever made but I am driven to do this because I am committed to the tens of thousands of volunteers and other emergency services workers who need an enormous amount of government support," he told Southern Cross Broadcasting today.
"I will miss that environment very, very badly. But there is a job to be done and if I am elected then I will be one of the staunchest advocates of the work these people do."
The bushfire chief said he opposed opposition plans to slash tens of thousands of public sector jobs.
"I have been in the public service for the best part of 35 years and I know how hard public servants work.
"Those bureaucracies support the frontline people ... they are essential to the wellbeing of communities that, from time to time, come under threat."
After ruling out a career switch earlier this week, Mr Koperberg admitted was persuaded to change his mind after the previous candidate Naomi Parry decided not to stand.
Parry embarrassed the party when it was revealed she had insulted senior ministers, including NSW Premier Morris Iemma, online last year.
"It was a not an easy thing to do; the change of mind came about as a consequence of issues which arose with the preselection," Mr Koperberg said.
"I was persuaded to throw my hat in the ring. I believe, or I would not have made this step, the future direction being set by Morris Iemma is essential for the wellbeing of its citizens."
I really like this man and I hope this doesn't mean we lose another good bloke to politics.
Prenup sent Keith to rehab November 3, 2006 - 11:56AM
Nicole Kidman allegedly had a clause written into her prenuptial agreement with Keith Urban that he had to go to rehab if he started drinking or taking drugs again - on the insistence of ex-husband Tom Cruise.
According to reports, country music star Keith did not check himself into rehab to be treated for alcohol addition voluntarily last month, but because of a legal obligation in his prenup specified by Tom to protect his children with Nicole.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Nicole's lawyer put this clause in to demonstrate to Tom that Keith's past problems wouldn't affect the kids."
The 39-year-old Cold Mountain actress has two adopted children with Tom, Connor, 11, and Isabella, 13.
Since Nicole remarried she has not seen much of the children as they have spent most of their time with Tom and his new fiancee Katie Holmes.
Nicole has also had to put her baby plans on hold since Keith was admitted to rehab.
A source said: "Nicole will not entertain plans for kids until she is sure Keith is back on track and clean again. They are both very much in love and have often talked about starting a family but all that has been pushed aside while he deals with his problem. She already has two much-loved children and while she's mothering Keith she's hardly going to be in a good position to have more."
The couple married this summer and Nicole has made no secret that she would like to have a baby.

Gee, I see that Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilaly, has got a friend, by ironically a victim of rape (no offence to those other women out there that are victims of this crime).
Now we heard about the Sheik's comments have'nt we, about he saying "immodestly dressed women to uncovered meat and suggesting they invited sexual assault."
Cindy, don't you see that as an insult to all women?? You are kinda twisted are'nt ya??

Where is the love?
As a teacher I imagine it was brought into play to stop the "snogging" that sometimes occurs in the schoolyard or even in the classroom. Love letters and kissing aren't practiced in the workplace, why is school any different?
I would say it depends on the kind of school it is. Co-ed yes, it should be allowed, but not all-boys or all-girls schools.
That's discrimination based on sexuality and there's a law against it.
Hugging a friend (girl or boy, makes no difference) is fine, and a quick peck before or after class is too. It's the full on snogging in or out of class that is inappropriate.

Actually, I'll have to agree with you on that point.

OMG, I cant belive people are still offended by those things, it is those feelings that poison the air but all to their own opinion I spose. Whether for good or ill.
However, among kids at school I can see thier point, I would be agast to learn my daughters or son were free to do something at school that I would not be ok with at home.
