Although the more obscure "adult" cartoons such as Critic/Dilbert were released a while ago exclusively to JB-Hi-Fi, they will be released nationally in most DVD outlets at the end of the year. I'm looking forward to getting my copy of The Critic at long last. I remember watching 2 episodes of the series back on Foxtel, and I quite enjoyed it. Like Simpsons/Futurama/KOTH it was a more character driven series.
I've become a HUGE fan of Beavis and Butt-head lately, although I'm a little saddened that this once pop culture phenomenon has faded into obscurity so quickly. I think we can all learn a thing or two from B&B in this day in age.
Yes, it's one of the stupidest shows I've ever watched (and in a good way), because that's what it's supposed to be. The exchanges between them and the way their idiocy is exerted throughout the series is hilarious. I also noticed that Daria was a recurring character throughout the series, and she eventually got her own spin-off on MTV (it used to play on ABC several years back). She didn't look nearly as serious in B&B as she did throughout her own show though.
For what it is, I think B&B is brilliant.
I'm going crazy waiting for Fox to release subsequent seasons of King of the Hill both here and in the US. And I'm getting sick of waiting for Seven to play it.
Can I just say thank god Ten have no more episodes of The Cleveland Show to air, even the ads gave me the a case of the all bran! How can the guy that came up with the smart and funny American Dad! also be responsible for Cleveland (and Family Guy)?
