Doom 3 sucked. Too dark. Quake 4 is supposedly my reckoning.
Half Life 2 is cool. If it moves and grunts, shoot it.

Give me things to work out. Improvise adapt overcome.

gawd , i must be soooo sad ! ..co's i still think my fav's are the ol'  pacmans - froggers - galaxian etc etc ..

but i am modernising a bit , co's the last of the fun games i enjoy are the mario & louigi mario bro's from the ol' nintendo system from the early 90's ?

I actually loved RA2, but I didn't like Tiberium Sun... that was too confusing and overdone.

I've been a huge fan of the Sims since I bought a pirated version of the original game for $2 in 2003. Since then I've purchased the deluxe edition, the expansion packs, the sequel, its expansion packs, and the handheld versions legit.

Oh, and I own The Sims 2 across 4 different platforms.

Since, I have spent around $750 on Sims games.  

Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom. Movie quality game!! "Isn't that the guy from Star Wars?"

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. It had me hooked for weeks and the soundtrack was awesome !!!!  I was also quite partial to the Resident Evil games as well.

Resident Evil 4 would surely have to be in contention for the console platform. The edition on PC with the patch was ok but the cut scenes and extras were ported horribly. The sound track to GTA: SA is awesome... a throwback to what my sisters were humming to on their "boom box" back in the day.

Well Halo 3 is certainly the biggest seller ever. I grabbed a copy of Legendary edition myself!

The disc holder is built in the grey base unit and the inside of the hemet allows the base unit to slide in securely though im sure if you took out a few screws that would be possible, in fact if you search youtube or other sites I'm sure you'd find proof!

Hmm, picking just one is too hard. It depends on the mood.

I like Baldur's Gate II but I also think that the Myst series is great also.

I wish more RPG's spent less time competing with Doom/Halo/HL and more like giving us something to think about. Oblivion IV was far too easy to complete. Just keep moving and never stop. Yawn!! Too much emphasis on technical one-upmanship (which is all very well) and not enough on genuine involvement/interest/replayability.

StarCraft and WarCraft 3 had their days and so did World of WarCraft.... currenlty on top of my list is Burnout 3 Takedown... Maybe until I am able to afford an x360 for BO Paradise!

For the ulimate best game, I would say Tetris!

Tie between Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy XII, X for its storyline and XII for its great gameplay.

But XIII is shaping up to destroy all of them lol!

FFVII is a good call. Most of the FF series have been great
