No offense but what sort of 17 yr old guy stays up to watch the news? Not saying it's a bad thing or anything, just curious.

A guy that has interest that extend outside his own home.

Ok it just seems unusual that's all, what's wrong with the 6 pm news?
So are you saying anyone who doesn't watch the news has no interests outside the home?

I can see where Norman's coming from...the late news has that sort of hook on you

I don't watch it, but if I watch like a minute of it, I don't turn it off until I've watched the whole program.

I also watch the 6am News and 5pm News.

I guess I just like the news and keeping up-to-date. I watch ABC news and read The Advertiser on my 3 phone on my way to school as well.

Study? Totally overrated... just kidding. Don't fail...

Anyway, I have free periods at school.

I'll be off to bed now to catch the F1 in the morning. Goodnight!

Woah! You must be very informed on current events!
Do you want to be a reporter?
I watch the 6pm news if it's on while I'm on the computer (eyes in the back of my head )
You don't fail? Lol but does that mean just passing or average or good?
I get mainly A's   but some B's. hehe.

I am usually up quite late with the TV on. I will watch all my usual primetime stuff, then a midnightish show, depending on the night.. then I will catch up on shows I have taped from earlier in the week... which I also do when there are gaps in what I watch earlier in the night.

All in all, I'm up often until 4, 5, 6am... it's funny sometimes to see two or sometimes more channels all running the same infomercial, for ProActiv, or Anthony Robbins.. or Cindy Crawford's Meaningful Beauty, heh...

Personally I'd like those empty hours to be filled with all the stuff they air for a few weeks, that doesnt rate thru the roof, then they pull.. it obviously sits on their shelf for months gathering dust, while us poor little peons are forced to write letters/posts whinging about "when is it going to be back on? I was to know what happened...."
Often  they'll play the rest of the series at some off hour, like 11am or 2:30am.. it's lucky I scour the TV guides every week, otherwise I would have missed the endings of some of these series...

that's my ramble, thanks for listening.

"Fry, this isn't TV, it's real life, can't you tell the difference?"
"Sure, I just like TV better."

Bringing back a near two year old topic

I went for none of these, as I do not have a certain time I watch TV because I just record everything and watch when I feel like it.

I have a hard drive recorder so because you can watch what you have recorded while recording another show I just do that these days (or record one and watch a time shifted one), because I work for myself my days are not always normal, so I make TV fit in with me and not the other way around. So yeah plenty to record and watch especially with the HD programs on 7, 9 and 10 (hurray up and finish the Cricket 10 so I can go back to watching Eureka again).

So yeah just whenever I watch the recorded stuff, which could be any time at all really.
