Greetings all,
I am an ex Brit, living in South Africa and planning to move to Perth soon.
One major problem my wife has - is - do you get Eastenders an a regular basis and if so, where are you up to in the storyline?
We get Eatenders here on DSTV - BBC Prime - and we are about a week behind the UK.
Looking forward to being in Australia ASAP!!!!
Cheers
Nick

We arn't far behind at all now, instead of it 5 nights a week it's now back to four, from the last time i could tell we were just two months behind. It's funny back probably about 2 years ago we were 3 years behind,so we have caught up quite quick,as it's been screening all year round

'Enders cleans up at Inside Soap Awards
Monday, September 29 2008, 23:00 BST

By Kris Green, Soaps Editor

BBC soap EastEnders scooped nine out of the 15 gongs including the 'Best Soap' accolade at this year's Inside Soap Awards.

ITV soap Coronation Street bagged three awards, while Emmerdale and Hollyoaks each landed one. The Bill was also named 'Best Serial Drama' for the third year in a row.

EastEnders' Rob Kazinsky took home awards for 'Best Actor' and 'Sexiest Male', while his on-screen sister Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater) won 'Best Actress' for the third year running. Rita Simons (Roxy Mitchell) won the 'Best Newcomer' title, with co-star Kara Tointon (Dawn Swann) named 'Sexiest Female'.

This year's 'Funniest Performance' trophy was handed to Cheryl Fergison (Heather Trott), while Lacey Turner and Charlie Clements (Stacey and Bradley Branning) bagged the 'Best Couple' gong. The Walford soap's final award came in the shape of 'Best Storyline' for the revelation of Max and Stacey's affair at Christmas.

Weatherfield actress Alison King scooped the award for 'Best b****' for her portrayal of factor owner Carla Connor, with her screen sister-in-law Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor) picking up the trophy for 'Best Dressed Soap Star'. Coronation Street's Jack P. Shepherd, meanwhile, retained his title as 'Best Bad Boy' for the second year running.

Hollyoaks youngster Ellis Hollins (Tom Cunningham) pipped Emmerdale's Eden Taylor-Draper to the 'Best Young Actor' award and the Dales' Chris Chittell won the 'Outstanding Achievement Award' for his role as Eric Pollard.
