I heard on the radio yesterday, the song that, well, suppose to cheer on the Aussies in the World Cup. The group known as "Freedom Of Thought" won this talent program on SBS and their theme song is pretty controversial.

It is more of a punk/rock type of anthem. Good thing about it is mentions the late Johhny Warren and about the break of the 32 year drought. Part of their music features a bit of didgeridoo, but the other music I find does'nt suit the socceroo anthem. It hardly mention they beat Aloisi that kicked in that penalty goal shoot-out that got us into the World Cup.

Anyway I give this socceroo World Cup song, 2.5 out of 4 stars !!

Yeah I don't think much of it either.

I saw that show last week and all the 'anthems' were a bit off. Each one had a good part (either the chorus, the music, or whatever) but as a whole each song pretty much sucked!

I wonder what the actual Socceroos think of the winning song
