I let out a YES when I heard the news

Im not anti st kilda(before this anyway)and not really a freo fan(lions fan)but was fully on the side of justice here and hoping right would be done and freo get the points.

Ive also lost a lot of respect for grant thomas who was incredibly smug after he thought they'd stolen the match.

Used to think he was one of the more decent coaches going around now I see him as a complete d&^%.

bit the same actually ...thought Fremantle got robbed big time originally .
i agree with the final decision 100 %

how this happens in modern day footy is beyond me .

if there's currently 2 things i hate at the moment , it is .....
1/. Canberra ( Manuka ? ) Oval
2/. Tasmania Oval

im mean really ...it's just not right playing at these venues, with the seriousness/proffessionalism of the game.  looks like suburburn football !

build better stands  ..and for god sake ! - get some sirens that are louder than my car air horns.

i cannot get into bugger all of these games like that !

( btw ..reckon St.Kilda  have sunk morally to a new low now because of this )

I still think St Kilda should have retained the 2 points. The umpires did not indicate the match was over ans I am not a Saints supporter.

Pavlich named Dockers' best
Fremantle forward Matthew Pavlich was rewarded for his consistent season with the club best and fairest award at a ceremony in Perth on Saturday night.

The vice-captain, who played every game as the Dockers reached the final four for the first time, took out his third Doig Medal ahead of Peter Bell and Michael Johnson.

Pavlich was a standout performer for Fremantle during the year, kicking 71 goals to equal the club record set by Tony Modra. During the season he also became the club's highest all-time goal kicker.

He finished seventh overall in the Brownlow medal count behind winner Adam Goodes, and was named in the All Australian side for the fourth time.

In other club news, Peter Bell announced he would relinquish the captaincy role ahead of the 2007 season.

Farmer charged with assault over nightclub incident

Fremantle Dockers forward Jeff Farmer has been charged with assault after an altercation in Perth overnight.

Police allege Farmer tried to enter a nightclub in Northbridge through an exit door and then became aggressive when a security guard attempted to remove him from the area.

Police say Farmer returned to the door a second time and punched the guard in the face.

The security officer was not seriously hurt and did not need medical attention.

Farmer was released on bail to appear in court in Perth on Thursday.

He is currently on suspension and was not due to play in today's clash with Adelaide at Subiaco Oval.
