I have created this thread at the convincing requests of a forum user.

"Hey

Well, we are months away from seeing the still unnamed third season finale of NCIS. But i have been very curious as too what will happen. But like last season i don't want to know for sure what happens, i just like too read the quiet credible rumors about what might happen.

The third season finale airs in America on May 16th.

What i know for a fact is that another character will leave. Now its still not confirmed if they will be killed off or just leave to come back later. I am in shock that, this is happening. Especially, not long after Kate was killed off.

Now according to U.S forums that i have looked at which are keeping up to date with everthing NCIS, (i can't believe i am writting this) but people are saying it will be Gibbs. Now what i have found out is that in the season finale Gibbs past come back to haunt him.

Gibbs said something to Ziva that shocked many in Kill Ari: Part II, i don't know if you guys got it. He said

Gibbs: "You found out about my first wife and daughter?"
Ziva: "Yes...... I'm sorry"
Gibbs: "Now we know why Ari is going after women first."

I didn't know what that meant until yesterday when i went on this forum and it all made sense.

Major Spoiler-

From what i have read Gibbs's first wife and daughter were killed. That was why in the season premier Ari was going after women i.e Kate, because it would affect Gibbs the most and destroy him. He was reminding Gibbs of his wife and daughters death.

Now from what i have read the death of his first wife and daughter will play a major part in the season finale.

Additionally Ziva's past will play a major part. I was so happy to hear this, because i still can't believe Ari is dead. Remeber guys, Mossad still does not know what happen to Ari. So that means Ari's dad does not now the truth about his son's death. Ari and Ziva's dad is the Deputy Director David of Mossad and in Kill Ari Part II, Gibbs spoke to him to convince his daughter Ziva to work with him. He thought he was telling her to work with Gibbs to help Ari complete his mission for Mossad, but instead as we all saw she worked with Gibbs to kill Ari. From what i have read he will play a big part in this season finale. I could only imagine what is going to happen. This is what i am waiting for the most, i still don't like Ziva for killing Ari and i can't wait to see Ari's dad's reaction to learning the truth about his son's death. And hopefully learning more about Ari. Now Ari's dad is a monster as well, he killed Ari's mum to make sure his son has no problem joining Hamas and being Mossad's mole in the terrorist group. Ari hated his dad for that and it was what set him off and caused him to kill Kate and turn on Mossad and NCIS.

The season finale will be a two hour season finale. Some are still saying that it could be like last year where we have a cliff hanger and the next part is aired next season. And since NCIS has been confirmed for another season because of there really strong ratings, i am thinking that will happen.

Well this is what i know so far.

Personally i thought it would be Ziva or Director Jenny who would leave because Jenny isn't very intersting and Ziva has said that she is just here temporarily. I would have thought Mossad might call her back to work. Oh i can't wait. I can't imagine Gibbs leaving if it is him for good. I have read that this season we will see Tony being more of the leader which i am thinking could make sense for Gibbs leaving.

I wonder how much of this will actually happen. We have quiet a while to go and once May 16th comes around i will be avoiding all spoilers like i usually do. But so far it looks good. I prefer knwoing bits a pieces without actually knowing exactly what happens.

I will laugh if the season finale airs here the same day the 4th season premier airs in the states in Septemeber. This happend last year. And i wasn't able to read peoples thought on what they think will happen on the premier because we had still not seen the finale until the day they say the premier. I was so funny and fustrating.

Can't wait to hear what people think so far about this season finale.

I am so excited."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was right when i wrote in my previous post that Gibbs past comes back to haunt me but from what i have read the season finale will focus only on Gibbs and not Ziva. From a few people i have spoken to, we learn about Zivan in the normal episodes and they could possibly be building this up for season 4.

Still the majority think that Gibbs is the one to go. I still can't believe that. I am thinking it will be Jenny.

Also its intersting to see Tony will take over as head of the team. That might possibly be the reason why Gibbs might be the one to go. Its certainly going to be intersting to see how everyone will act with Tony in charge.

They certainly have been building up this season finale, from very early in this season. We have had the flashbacks of Gibbs with his daughter and then in the recent episode with Gibbs and the gift his wife and daughter gave him.

I must say, i am still not happy with the reality of Ari not being in the season finale but regardless the season finale looks good.

Also, i know its obvious but last month CBS renewed NCIS for another season which will mean NCIS will go into its 4th season.
