I don't mind Debbie Byrne - I like nutty out there people. I used to dislike Meshel Laurie but grew to like her a little while watching her on Rove..although I still find her a little annoying. Absolutely love Dame Edna and got a laugh out of her calling her hair colour jacaranda as well! |

I don't mind people like Deborah/Debbie or Pinky from machine gun fellatio on programs like this... generally good for a laugh & a reminder not to touch lysergic acid

I watched it and recorded it so I can get my fix while the 'off' season is 'on'. Debra Byrne (spelling?) is the biggest nut job I have seen for quite some time. Her brain is fried from substance abuse and I am sure she was taking double the recommended dose of her antidepressants! I have seen her on several things in the last year or so and she is not quite all there. She makes next to no sense at all when she speaks. The other guests I loved but agree with Aqua regarding Meshel Laurie! Dame Edna came up with some gems and I woke up this morning with 'D ick the Horse' carol going through my head! Adam Hills is so gorgeous as a person and the perfect host for this show. Alan's beard reminds me of my son's beard he grew this last winter, when it was in it's early stages, yuck. Grows right down onto their chest almost. Thankfully my son shaved his off. I thought the Choir was terrific and Val Gillet as always such a beautiful lady. Loved when Dame Edna said her own haircolour is called Jacaranda! Spicks and Specks one of my all time fav shows.
I think suzi has said it all for me.........except to add that Myf was gorgeous as usual. She is so natural, I think we are gonna see a lot more of her on TV. |

I certainly hope so. Did you all see her on 'My Favourite Album'? I think I nearly burned a hole in my TV screen from staring in one spot too much. Hehehehe! Cass. |

I do like some nutty people and absolutely love Pinky, cracked me up whenever he was on the Glasshouse. I think because Deb Byrne is around my age and I have watched her through the good and bad times I am just sick of her. Myf is too cute for words and I have noticed she is well endowed and very natural. Does anyone know how Adam Hills lost His right foot and ankle? Just curious. Adendum: Adam was born with no right foot but otherwise whole. No-one knows why, apparently. I found this info at: http://www.theage.com.au/news/tv--radio/lifes-great-for-hills/2005/06/23/1119321831992.html |

Myf is great For people with set top boxes, you can catch repeats of Spicks & Specks on ABC2. It was on last night at least.. |

I read an article/interview with him several years ago when he decided to incorporate it/reveal it... I seem to recall him saying something about the umbilical cord was wrapped around his ankle

Doesn't Mikey Robins look good? His knowledge of music last night amazed me too. Frank Ifield has aged better than Brian Cadd. |

I love the show and never miss it. Adam and Myf are great. I wish I could remember the name of that blues trio, they were fantastic. Can anyone remember their name ? |

There's an interactive Spicks and Specks game that will be released on August 15th on DVD. The game will include 2 buzzers and around 1500 questions. It costs about $45, although you can probably get it cheaper at one K-Mart, Target etc. |

I do personally believe the gastric bypass surgery is abhorrent & the person is simply lazy.
He should have a reasonable memory having worked in the industry, behind a radio mixing desk, for many many many years... I am more impressed with the recall of the token New Zealander. He manages to pull some of massively esoteric knowledge from the bottomless pit of hell sometimes. The time that Myf stuffed up the Nirvana question has been added to her biography on wikipedia |

I didn't mention surgery did I? I do personally believe, however, that the gastric bypass surgery was a last resort and the person has more guts than me.

Did I mention that you did? I wasn't saying anything against you personally, just the person himself... for a long time he made a living mocking himself for being the token fat child. Telling the same stories over and over and over and over on the triple jjj breakfast show. About how he used to steal money from his mother, waddle several streets over from his house & wait for the ice cream truck. Patiently wait in line. Then have the ice cream man loudly announce that his mother had contacted him and none of the local ice cream men were allowed to sell to him... or that he spent several months at University, in his room, perfecting the ideal toasted cheese sandwich, which consisted of three different kinds of cheeses

Agree on both points. I like mikey and have since he did GNW but it's a fairly extreme way to lose weight. Just cut the carbs and run. And yes alan's knowledge is extraordinary. i thought i had a head full of useless musical facts but this guy takes the cake. |
