What are the chances the people voting "CRAP" are the same ones woohooo'ing Kevin as he jets around and actually manages to do SFA for the country
Probably I voted average, or good or something, it wasn't crap. I don't think he did that bad of a job as everyone says he did. |

I voted average. He was in power during one of our best economic periods in history, and we didn't have a whole lot to show for it IMO.
I don't think Kevo's doing a too crash hot job yet, but his handling of the financial crisis has been okay. Doesn't he have like a 60 or 70% approval rating, that is huge. Usually after a year the honeymoon period wears off. |

Might surprise you, Aqua, and others, but I actually voted 'very good' in this poll. I am not one eyed or blinkered in my vision when it comes to politics I am a swinging voter and I believe it was time for Howard and Costello to 'leave', but not necessarily the Liberal Party to be booted. With a good leader I am sure the Liberal Party would of had a better chance of staying in office. They had no-one to deliver the goods though I like Kevin Rudd and what he has accomplished so far but will not play favourites if he stuffs up (in my eyes). |

I didn't do any of that, but I did vote Labour. I also wonder what are the chances the people voting "Excellent" are the same ones abusing Kevin as he attempts to do something for the country, unlike the previous government, in whom the majority of the country lost confidence. |

But isn't the majority of the country the stupid people? Only 1 person voted excellent, so, "the people voting".. not so much. Lowie I thought, even if we didn't get anywhere, he didn't crash and burn, and he kept Australia pretty prosperous and a desired country to live in, like, good likes now aren't really Rudd's doing, we'll see his effects in a few years. |

The World is now in the biggest economic crisis since the Great Depression, apparently and things are going to get much worse before they get better. Kevin Rudd has a huge task and ask before him in these times. Barack Obama is in for a tough time as are all Western Leaders, Worldwide. It will be impossible to fairly compare The Howard Government with The Rudd Government. |

Yes Liberal did well with our finances during prosperous times. They also did poorly on many human rights issues like 'saying sorry', discrimination of minorities, joining wars and following Bush. Labour has so far gone okay in extremely difficult financial times and the proof of their tenure will be apparent down the track, not now. Yes Rudd has travelled far and wide overseas since becoming PM. I believe nowadays they must do this if Australia is going to have a significant role in our globalising society.
I would say Howard did fair overall. I don't like the fact he became arrogant and would no longer listen to the Australian population. I don't like the fact that he lied to us.
I'd probably go so far as saying I'd support Rudd's current high approval rating, however for me that is probably more because the Liberal opposition have become a load of anti-Labour whiners. Julie Bishop in particular! I have watched many interviews with her, she is an absolute joke skewing interviews to focus on rubbishing Labour rather than giving strong alternative policies. The Liberal party are said to be looking at dropping her. I for one will be pleased to see her gone. |
