My approxamate age is such that I have to think about it and then check with my wife to make sure... then we have a discussion about it, involving other people's ages since we can't remember her's either, to make sure we got it right.
34 I think.  She's asleep right now but I'm pretty sure it's 34.
I wonder how hard it will be to figure it out in another 34 years, assuming I live that long.

Wisdom is a 'cra*' plastic surgeon though. . . all the wrinkles, grey hair and arthritis. . *mehh!. . at least I have learned a thing or two*.

On the more wisdom than you'd ever know one, what age does that mean? does that mean over 80?

I guess that would apply to people over the ages in the poll... and to me as well even though I'm still pretty young

Age is something that doesn't matter, unless you are a cheese.  

There are lots of sayings to do with age, like.....
Age is just a state of mind...

I have never been concerned about aging or looking 'old'. The age I am now (50) is a nice age to be. I can whip up a roast dinner without even thinking about it, I can sew a T-shirt, dress, 3/4 pants or nightie without a second thought. I have great skin which I am proud of thanks to my genes and 3 litres of water per day. I have two beautiful adult children (29 and 21) who love and care for me. I have a wonderful man in my life who puts the icing on the cake (of life).   My health could be better but I look after myself. I can see wrinkles appearing in places other than my face and think...HUH? I need help reading the telephone book, so I don't, I look up phone numbers online.  
I commented to my son a few weeks ago that 'right at this moment I am the happiest I have ever been in my entire life', and it was/is so true.   I have suffered clinical depression all of my life but at this point in time it does not control my life. I love where I live and my children are close by and age is inconsequential to it all.  

What does it mean to be a cheese?  Is it like cheesy or grumpy or goofy?
Four years in the country and I still hear things I have to ask about

Well apparently (I am 44) I am no longer considered to be "Gen X" someone in their wisdom has moved the boomer / Gen X  boundary back by a year or two, and I am now consider to be a baby boomer. Talk about rapid aging!

If I recall correctly Erin was 13 when she joined.
My daughter once dated a young man who had lips like Matt and was pretty like him. Everyone thought he used lipstick or gloss but he didn't and his lips and eyelashes were natural.

Voting in this sort of poll is kind of redundant. I'm 21 now and thus no longer fit into the "13-18" demographic that I was in when this thread was created way back in 2006 (how time flies ). I think an approximate year of birth poll would be preferable to this.

Woah, me too. I bet most of the people who put 13-18 in the lead are out of that category now. I was always one of the youngest and no one that's younger has stuck around so
