DID YOU ALL WATCH THE WINTER GAMES LAST NIGHT
WE DIDNT DO SO GOOD. BUT AT LEAST WE TRIED.
MAKES ME FEEL -OH HOW I WISH I WAS FIFTY YEARS YOUNGER.
BUT TO BE HONEST
I WOULDNT GO FOR  WINTER GAMES EITHER IF I WAS.I AM MORE A SUMMER PERSON-
BUT JUST WATCHING THOSE YOUNG PEOPLE GOING DOWN THOSE SLOPES
MAKES YOUR HEART GO WITH THEM.THEY DESERVE A THE GOLD MEDAL JUST FOR GOING.

I agree June - I'm not really that into the winter olympics but some of those sports are so daring...I mean swimming and running take talent and hard work and all but skiing and snowboarding take that plus a lack of fear (or a death wish)...it's quite fun to watch...wouldn't want it to be me (I am spectacularly unskilled on skis)

Cheers, BSquared

I've done the Winter Olympic 4-man bobsled at the Salt Lake City Olympic course (not competing, just managed to talk my way in) - and it may look smooth on TV, but it's nothing of the sort. You bump and shake all over the place, and the G-forces really give you a workout. Fun though.
