The woman who played Kate in NCIS will star in the third Mission Impossible. Maybe I will actually see it now, but I really can't stand Tom Cruise. |

I don't think the administrator is here to help you with it but he is a nice guy when he has time. Click on this then select an avatar by clicking on the various options in those 2 boxes and hit save. If you want your own Avatar, you can either upload it or hotlink it. Hotlinking it would be easier for me to explain. You can use http://www.imageshack.ws/ to put your image up then copy the text from there that is a direct link to your image. The address or text should end with jpg or gif or possibly bmp and there won't be any question marks in that address or text... that will be the one you want. You highlight that, go up to edit on your browser and choose copy then come back to your profile page and in the part tha says Avatar URL you put your mouse in there, cllick, go to edit again, hit paste. Now you hit save on the page. You may have to go back and adjust the width and height of your image so it doesn't look squashed. You do that on the same page. It's hot I'm tired, I haven't searched your posts and I don't know if you actually needed that explanation or not but Merry Christmas. I really like a lot of the roles he chooses too. Edit: Oh, I see now, you can't click on that link... I reckon that if it can be fixed then it will be by someone who's on holiday. |

I will NOT ever go to the Cinemas to see a movie with Tom Cruise in it ever again. After the stupid stunts he pulled just this year alone I cannot abide him. He single handedly ruined the Box Office takings for 'War of the Worlds'. Up here on the sunny coast Video Ezy has Dollar Tuesdays which gives us up to 4 new releases and up to 8 weekly movies for $1 each. These days it's the only way I rent DVD's and for a Movie with Tom Cruise in it, I wouldn't pay one cent more!!! |

After seeing Cruise's ugly looks and stupid faces this year I cannot ever again think he is nice to look at, all I see is an ugly little man with 'small man's syndrome'. Beauty comes from within and I don't like what is inside Cruise. BTW not all men of smaller stature have 'small man's syndrome', just some squirts who can only get noticed by being a bully or pulling couch jumping stunts!! |

I loved the first MI for the fact that it stayed close to the tv series. MI 2 I couldn't even finish, I got about 20 min in and turned it off.
God forbid I don't even want to see a trailer or poster for MI 3 |

I've seen a trailer for MI3, and it doesn't look too bad. Still, I can't stand Tom Cruise either. I'll never forget his backlash at Peter Overton in his 60 Minutes interview last year, where he said things like "You stepped out of line" and "Put your manners back in," after Peter started asking him about Nicole Kidman . Besides, what is it with him dating Catholic girls and trying to get them to convert to Scientology? |

It's kind of difficult to not be distracted by the person behind the charachtor on the screen when you know them personally or find some reason to dislike them. It's for this reason that celebrity gossip is best not read, not watched, not taken seriously as it so easily is blown out of proportion and is often just plain untrue. If the reputation of actors was kept to the people that hired those actors then there would be no problems in watching something without distraction and usually it's not a problem. In this case, Cruse jumped up and down on a sofa and had an interview on anther show go horribly wrong but all the rest is what people choose to write about him and how they choose to write it. So setting aside the fact that he went for a trip into the clouds on Oprah after falling madly in love and giving him the benefit of the doubt on whatever it was or is that caused him such anger on 60 minutes... what the hell does anything truly have to do with Mission Impossible 3?
Isn't it about time that people stop thinking that hating Tom Cruise is a trendy thing to do? I'll bet the guy's world had provided suffering 10 times over for whatever wrongs might actually be true and it's none of our business to begin with. I mean I don't know him... never seen him, never met him, etc. |

I agree with MD. I actually don't mind him and I missed the interview he had with 60 minutes and and didn't really care about his actions on Oprah. With that aside, looking at the trailer I'm guessing this film is gonna be just more of the second film. He looks like he's basicaly gonna be doing that James Bond one man action thing again but without the doves. I might see it when it comes out on dvd but only because I like Philip Seymour Hoffman and (am I reading this right?) Simon Pegg?. |

Well Suzie, you're not alone!! http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/2006-05-12/Fans "Boycott" Cruise Blockbuster Mission: Impossible III has failed to meet its box office expectations, because actor Tom Cruise's popularity has taken a sharp nosedive - according to a new survey. And a poll conducted by USA Today shows that 51 percent of fans have deliberately turned their backs on The Last Samurai star Cruise's latest movie as a result of his antics, comments and continual public displays of affection with fiancee Katie Holmes. Journalist Dave Karger says, "A lot of people came up to me and said, 'I don't want to support this movie's first weekend.' They made a conscious choice to avoid it." |
