Thanks for the spoilers.

It's annoying that Susan will lose the kids to the horrible Katya but hopefully that won't be the end of it..

NEIGHBOURS star Stephanie McIntosh (Sky) will use a reality TV show to launch her music career.

Boyfriend and St Kilda player Nick Riewoldt will appear in the warts-and-all documentary series that follows the recording of McIntosh's debut album Tightrope.
"It'll show my day-to-day life, Nick, my friends, my family, as well as the journey behind making this record," McIntosh said yesterday.

McIntosh will follow a host of stars from Ramsay St to the recording studio, include Kylie Minogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrem, Natalie Bassingthwaighte -- and her half-brother, Jason Donovan.

"Jason's thrilled," she said. "He's very happy for me. He knows the game really well and he told me the most important thing is to be true to myself.

"When you look at the people who've had music careers out of Neighbours, from Kylie to Delta, they've all been so different to each other, and I'm about to be different again."

McIntosh, 20, said Riewoldt had been a real rock for her.

"Nick's been so supportive. I can go home to him and say 'What do you think of these songs'? He's a 23-year-old guy so he's got different tastes to me. He can be honest and tell me what he thinks. He's rapt it's all happening for me."

McIntosh has signed a five-album deal with Universal Music. She will release her first single mid-year, around the time the TV show is expected to screen on Channel 10.

The concept of using a reality show to launch a music career was pioneered by American star Ashlee Simpson, who has influenced McIntosh's rock-pop style. The TV series will also show McIntosh juggling recording her album with her Neighbours commitments.

McIntosh worked on the album in London, Sweden, LA and Melbourne with producers including Max Martin (Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, the Veronicas) and Tom Nicholas (Kylie Minogue's Fever).

"It's definitely pop but it's going to be edgier than people will be expecting," McIntosh said.

McIntosh, who is managed by Glenn Wheatley, intends to play Sky Mangel on the hit soap for at least the next year.

"The Neighbours' schedule is really demanding, so fitting in the singing will be a challenge, but I'm ready.

"I just want it so badly that working two jobs will be a joy. The hard work will pay off."

Everyone that has ever gone on Neighbours thinks they can sing. They think it is a modern day Young Talent Time.

I hope she doesn't leave neighbours. mind you, her character has gone down the hill ever since she stopped dying her hair black, she's too preppy now.

Does anyone else find "Ned" extremely annoying? The fact that he can't act to save himself is bad enough, without having a character that whinges and whines all the time

Know what ya mean..

I liked Neds character early despite the guys limited acting ability because he was such a good hearted country boy.

Now that he's become a tool he irritates me ,to the extent that I hope Paul gets the better of him.

Ned is visually repulsive, and I want him to leave the show immediately. He makes me cringe whenever I see him on screen. And he's not a likeable "character" at all. I agree with him being a complete tool. Same thing with the Robert guy. Could they not have chosen such a poor actor? I only like Katya because she's attractive, but she REALLY needs to work on her acting.

they are triplets..apparently conceived with the help of IVF.

In the end Gail subsequently met the man of her dreams in Tasmania, and Paul signed over full rights to the triplets to him after he and Gail married - although Gail assured Paul that he could visit the triplets as often as he liked.
