Had a great lunch the other day. The Reef at Noosa has been renovated and is FANTASTIC. Best seafood. So fresh. Does anyone on here watch the ABC show, 'Surfing the Menu'? Last night (14th Dec) my daughter was on the show airbrushing the guys! Anyone see it? I taped it. <<< very proud Mummy. |

"Airbrusing the guys"? I didn't see it, so I'm curious as to what you mean by 'airbrusing the guys'. Is she in make-up or something? Or is she an artist - I guess they are really the same thing! |

My daughter IS an artist and she AIRBRUSHES people at the largest open air markets in the southern hemisphere... the Eumundi Markets up here on the sunshine coast. She does free hand or stencils and adds her own artistic touch with colours and designs. The guys off Surfing the Menu got her to airbrush temporary tattoos on them One of them had his in a very private area so when she did it the film crew had to hold up curtains so the public couldn't see. The 'tattoos' last 2-3 weeks. She makes a good living doing that, airbrush tanning people and a few other things. It is her own business. Surfing the Menu... http://abc.net.au/surfingmenu/noosa.htmis the episode my daughter featured in.

Just out of interest what is everyones favourite take away?
That would be a difficult one for me. I usually get take away 2-3 times a week and almost everyday during school holidays. I usually get something different every time (eg Red Rooster, Maccas, KFC). My favourite would probably be Hungry Jacks or KFC, but when I feel like something healthy i'll get Subway. |

At the moment in construction industry circles this phrase is really getting up my nose - the answer is "key Learnings" this means we screwed it up big time, but all that money down the tube was worth it because for our "Take Aways" we got some excellent "Key Learnings" aarrggghhhh! |

Do you find that depending on which Wok you go to, it tastes different? For instance, I only ever get special fried rice at Wok from Hindley st because it tastes better than the rice at Glenelg. No idea why, but it really does taste different from store to store. |

A few of our original members have disappeared, notably Cactus. I know he went away for Christmas Holidays but school has returned here in QLD and he should of returned (by my calculations) by now. His absence has meant I am now the Biggest Poster. Wow, I never thought I would be called that! |

oh how I remember the days when I looked forward to birthdays....instead of now where I run screaming from the sight of them (or simply pretend the day isn't happening) It's not that I mind my age...it's just that my list of things to do before I die is getting longer and my time is getting shorter. Enjoy the big day normangerman...17 isn't it? |
