I don't mind the heat even the humidity, yes its hot but I like it better than the cold, anything over 26 is good. I've been to Darwin in the wet and dry I do like both, you can wear more casual clothing and swim all day every day, noice |

Humidity.... we cornered the market on humidity here in Qld. Yesterday I was shopping in a big fruit and veg shop that is beautifully airconditioned. I took one step outside and my glasses fogged up to the point where I could not see and my clothes were immediately damp from the moisture in the air! Someone told me once that when it's like that it is exactly like Port Vila in the South Pacific. So humid you can see it in the air in front of you. The weather last night said the humidity was 80% plus. I have seen it at 99%.
Yes! QLD has such bad humidity! Omg! It's boiling! Ahh! |

You are lucky in the fact you have a pool, Dara! I'd be throwing HUGE blocks of ice in the pool and staying in it all day with a big sombraro on my head |

I like to swim when the water is'nt to cold , its still cooler than the surronding heat, at Sydneys beaches the water has been very cold , but has since warmed up to 22 , still a bit cool for me |

The humidity isn't as bad now because there has been a breeze and it has blown some of the humidity away. The Gold Coast copped a beating and heaps of rain a couple of days ago. Not here though. I prefer the water to be pretty chilly and refreshing. You can't get refreshed in a pool that feels like a warm bath. I stand under the cold water at the end of my evening shower for several minutes to cool my body temp. down so I can sleep better. |
