Had a lovely lunch at my daughter's for Christmas. We had eaten enough that we didn't have dessert. I actually drank 2 Corona Beers. She drank Bailey's milk and ice, I came home at 3pm and had a nap
My daughter gave me.... a 100ml bottle of 'Stella' McCartney perfume... agate crystal bookends.... a groovy satin shoulder bag with a beaded fringe.... revlon lipgloss and nailpolish! I felt thoroughly spoiled

Remember Lurveit, you are only 21 once so make the most of it and have a blast!   Everyone else controled my 21st 'party' and it was just sad. Plus I was married and expecting my daughter at the time I have had the very best birthday party only recently and that was my 50th in October 2005. My daughter threw it and it was fantastic, I even had a fire dancer.

I have seen that some things on ebay are listed as "buy it now", which means you don't bid.  Could you not set your seller's account up to do that?

Yeah that's correct as I understand it Paula.  I have an ebay account and I read heaps and heaps about it at the time that I set it up and that's how I remember it.  Also better, I think you can do some sort of thing where you set up for an auction with a closing date but if the asking price (which you don't have to publish) isn't met then it goes as an item for sale at a fixed price.

If you go the ebay route though, it will require a lot of reading to make sure you get it right and that my facts are correct too.  You'lle need a paypal account... or maybe just release credit card details.  Anyway, I don't like to release credit card details on the internet and setting up paypal required them asking for more details about my bank account than I was comfortable with... I was confused about it actually so decided to do the cautious thing and just not do it.

Also if you use ebay make sure it's .com.au unless you wan't to deal with international shipping.  You might actually have to use the Australian site now anyway.

I don't know the names of other sites but they are out there and are used as well.  Hopefully someone else will know of some.

I buy and sell things on ebay ALL the time - its really easy and instead of paypal and that (yes, i hate my c/c details on the net too) use ur bank account - its much safer and easier if you've set up some kind of netbanking with ur bank.
