Our year 10s finished on Friday too. We always finish the year with the weeklong ABW program. The last Friday of term is purely for presenting the certificates to the winners and having an end of year assembly for them. One of our teachers made a DVD of things that had happened during the year and played it at the assembly. Each student was presented with a copy. A lovely way to end the year. |

Quoted Text
ABW Enterprise Education involves an intensive one week experiential learning program. During this week students (typically Year 10 or Year 11 students) undertake a series of activities which replace their normal weekly curriculum...
Students are formed into teams of ten, each of which becomes a simulated "company" for the duration of the program. Within the team, students allocate amongst themselves the key roles within the company. These roles are set out according to which simulation program the school is using.

I need some advice and information if anyone can help.
My step-son left for England last week. His cousin sponsored him. He was to work as a barman in the hotel that his cousin manages. He had all his paperwork and had checked to see he met the 'criteria' before leaving. Mid-week he arrived in Dublin for a few days R&R before heading for England. Customs, however, seem to have other ideas. He has reported that they were "giving me a hard time" and 2 hours ago we got a text msg saying he was heading back because of it. Now what I don 't get is if he has all the paperwork and the sponsor set up how can he not be allowed in? |

How awful Paula, did they think he was trying to stay in Dublin?? Did your son contact the Australian Consulate they may be able to advise him. Hope it all gets sorted out. |

Well my step-son isn't telling us too much MM, so I am beginning to suspect that he hasn't done things correctly vis-a-vis the paperwork. I don't think he has contacted the consulate as yet. |
