Thanx. My cousins got an evaluation version from his best friend who recently got layed off from microsoft support. Before they got rid of a whole bunch of ppl they were given copies of a Vista demo (don't ask me why) but I wanna wait until the whole product comes out. I couldn't be bothered setting up a test os and then have to go through it all over again a few months after.
When I was in Ecuador just recently my sister in law's fiance was working for a company that was subcontracted to do Microsoft support. He's a Java programmer primarily but I don't know if that's what they were working in. Anyhow, I have a strong suspicion that your cousin's friend had his job sent to a 3rd world country where 4 dollars an hour is a top paying job. Small world if that's the case. While I'm on a thought ramble on Ecuador and Software, you can get a Windows OS there for Five dollars. And DVD's are $1.50, I came back with a few DVD's. When you see the police at these shops, which are all over, they are just there to buy DVD's, or music or whatever. Paying full price for the real product isn't possible for most people there. |

Ok wait. I'm comfused :S Sister inlaws fiance. So Isn't a sister in law someone married to your brother... So wouldn't you say "my brother" instead of my sister in law's fiance?? Unless it is a sibling of your sister/brother in law :S |

My dad says he will buy me my own laptop ( I need a computer in my room!) if I write out a study plan thingy saying when I will study etc and then prove I am doing my HW etc next year and let him look at it. I don't want either of my parents to go anywhere near my work they have no idea what school is like thesedays. I guess I will though cuz I can't afford my own laptop |

I have to buy a new laptop now because the p, equal and dash keys don't work anymore. The only reason I can type a p at the moment is because I found one in a word document and copied it, so whenever I want to write a p i have to go 'ctrl v'. Otherwise you robably won't understand what I'm tying. You should always kee liquids well away from your comuter! |

I'll be upset when something dies on my laptop. I like it so much that I rarely turn on the desktop computer anymore. The desktop machine outclasses this one in many ways too. |
