If it were me: I'd ask the guy for a coffee, face to face, next time I saw him. If he said yes, I'd have a convenient time and place ready. If he said "no" then that's cool and his loss, but it's then that I'd leave him my mobile, with something like, "Well that's your loss, but if you change your mind..." and a smile as I left. I'd forget the 'friend with benefits'. |

I have always been fairly forward when it comes to something like this. It's a little hard to ask him to coffee face to face because he is always behind the counter at the Butcher Shop with at least 4 work colleagues (male and female) around him. I have to stand on tippy-toe to see over the display cabinets properly! There is a gap of about 2 feet at the corner of the display where I could lure him there to talk. I go either to or past the Butcher shop almost every day and he is working there every time which means.... does he work most days also? I will ask him to his face if I get the chance (I want to do this this week, after payday wednesday!) and give him my name and number at the same time I ask him to coffee. I have butterflies just thinking about it. I am very disappointed with my FWB. It's is out of this world when we are together but I am not a priority, he is a workaholic and after almost 5 years I know I can expect nothing different. I want friendship, companionship, physicality and great playdates. I do not however want a husband or even possibly to co-habitate with someone. Too easy. |

It was OK, 11/20 probably.
It doesn't really matter, I already have 4 of my marks anyway (English Comms - 16/17, Religion - 16, German - 19, Maths Methods - 17), so all I need is for IT mark to go up to a 17 from the current 16 to get a TER 92-ish.
Maths on Thursday, IT on Monday and Modern History the Monday after. |

Just go in the shop and catch his eye and say can you spare me a minute please. Then when you are out of earshot of the others just ask him out for a coffee...........Things will then flow naturally........... Forget FWB. |

Love in the butcher shop is possible! My cousin met his wife at the butcher shop - he was the butcher, she was the steady customer. They went out, got engaged, then married, and now have 2 kids! So I say go for it! Ask him out! |
