Dara, you have never been annoying to me. You've had your moments, like all teenagers. As we all know most teenaged girls are aliens and most teenaged boys are from the Moon. I have enjoyed 99.99% of your posts The young'uns on this forum should all give themselves a pat on the back for being so mature and enjoyable. Thanks to all the young'uns under 25 for making this forum even more interesting.

There are so many threads it's hard to keep up with everyone without jumping from thread to thread and sometimes you just want to chat about nothing without it being themed which gives it a limited scope.

For those of us who haven’t got the time to search every thread looking for some conversation I thought it would be a good idea if we had somewhere to talk about anything and everything. Idle chatter with some gossip thrown in but without being "themed", like you would do if you did go out to a cafe.

So to start I'd like to say that I'm still looking for work but I'm getting really annoyed because most businesses just don't reply even if it is an advertised job.  If I just sent letters to everyone and anyone then I would imagine they don't feel obliged to acknowledge you but when they advertise a vacancy then it should only be proper to answer every enquiry.

The weather up here has been good the last couple of weeks with good rain and cooler temperature.  That’s it for tonight I’m off to bed now so goodnight and seeya soon.

Hi ya'll!! Awwwww Candy... you were keeping track. thank you. I am on my housemates laptop and it's driving me nuts. My Internet will be on sometime tomorrow. I am used to my big PC. God I wont know myself when my connection is working. My move went without a hitch or a glitch My new female HM is early 40s and gorgeous inside and out. Her fiance in his mid 30s is at the airport in Briz very soon where she is picking him up for a 3 day weekend. I will meet him this arv. If she loves him and is marrying him he must be a good bloke. He is working on road construction in Townsville with their own business and will be here sometime in January to stay, permanently. They are getting married in February 2009 in Las  Vegas!    The pool has had a leak, well, 12 actually. The stove blew up last night, lol. The electrician has just arrived to fix it!
The pool specialist checked the pool (inground with liner) and has patched the liner and recommended to the Real Estate that the liner be replaced (around $6k apparently). Bubba and the Budgies have settled in well. The Rottweiler is gorgeous. He has been out of sorts all week with a cut on his foot that he had to go to the vet with. His name is Jackson. The weather has been cyclonic since Monday. Glad I got moved before it all hit. Gotta get off now as the laptop is giving me the pips. See you all tomorrow when I am once more connected

Yeah...we missed you Suzi. Still having 'ups' and 'downs', I see.
So your HM are renting too!!!  Are you on the lease?. Bet they will be glad to have you look after things while they are away on their honeymoon. Jackson is nice name for dog.
We had rough weather here last weekend...the sky is still black today, but temp is warm.

Thank you everyone.   It took over half an hour to configure my router but now, poof, it's all good. I am so tired though. Moving twice in the space of 9 weeks had just drained me. Got my car on Wednesday but the weather has been so crap I am trying not to go out. My car is parked safely next to my housemates big trucky/ute 4WD in the driveway. It's up for sale (the ute). My car desperately needs a service and a tune up.   God, it drove me nuts yesterday. A mechanic friend is going to look at it on the weekend. Bought petrol for 117.9c per litre the other day My car looks fabulous.
No Dara, we don't have to pay for repairs etc because it is a rental property and if we did not cause the problem/breakage/blowup/leak the Landlord has to fix it.... part and parcel of having an investment property Gotta have a Nanna nap now, catch up later today
