BOILING the first day but after the storms (while camping) it was nice ^_^

I'm so angry I just lost $30 >:C I had all this change in my pocket and when I got home only the coins were there. greatttt. I'm poor now >:C I have.. $7.25 + $600 which I'm not spending.

XD Unlucky... I never keep change in my pocket lol always goes straight into my wallet. Not after I lost a $50 note in a shopping centre.

Lol I don't leave my house unless my wallet and phone aren't in my pocket lol.... its like there's a wall where my front door is unless my phone and wallet are in my pocket XD

Recently I posted up on this thread the pics of the carpet ‘damage’ at my old place. I was going to the small claims court because I was disputing the fact they wanted to keep $145. of my Bond as I could see no reason. There was a 3 way tele conference and I would not back down. At the eleventh hour yesterday I was rung by the R/E and told they were releasing the money and were not pursuing it in court because I had been such a good tenant paying my rent ahead of time and taking care of the unit. Well, D’Uh!!  
Now I will be able to get my ‘new’ car (due this week) a tune up as well.

Yes, always fight when you know you are right. Stand up for what you believe. In this case I knew the carpet was crappy and cheap to begin with and was never going to pass the test of time plus castors on an office chair is part of normal wear and tear these days. Next place I live I will have a largish carpeted mat down for my chair! BTW it's $155. I discovered this arv.

They still couldn't admit they were wrong ah...still you know you were right and you got the money, Who cares what they said now.

Too much chocolate Dara!

Haven't mentioned before because I think I was so upset but the landlord of where I live will not allow anyone else in to share, even in the Granny flat. The Real Estate said yes but..... the landlord is being a moron. For 2 weeks now I have been frantically looking for a new share house (can't afford rent on my own). I found a beautiful home, just leased to a couple. Long story short... I move in next weekend the 8th and 9th. I am so relieved and guess what... it is a beautiful spacious home, there is a lush pool, a beautiful Rottweiler, a lovely lady in her 40's with empty nest and her fiance in his 30's works away. I won't meet him until January 2009. It is long long term and I am so happy. $150 per week. Central to the Mooloola River, a big shopping centre, plus shops along the main road, and near the beach. A hop and a jump away is a seafood supplier I will be thankful to be settled somewhere. I should have my car this time next week. They are 'waiting on parts'!
