I think debate among friends is a very good thing, arguments are not. I hate argueing and fighting but a mature adult debate is good for the soul, IMHO. My ex-husband learnt early on in our 19 plus year marriage that I would not and will not argue. He was so frustrated with that fact he yelled at me 'Why wont you argue with me?' to which I replied... 'why argue when you know you are right'. That stumped him and we never did argue or fight.
Bras and their hooks, clasps whatever... I used to have 2 most beautiful bras that had clasps at the front and I loved them. They gave a great line with no visible creases in a tight top, plus they were sooooo comfy. |

I put the dra on backwards first to do it up then turn it around.
I love those old ads. Keep them coming cactus.
I used to go to the Library in school and get out the old National Geographics just to look at the ads, especially the ones for the cars. |

When I was a kid, National Geographic was porn because I couldn't get my hands on real porn. It made me feel uncomfortable to look at though. I thought it was pretty strange that women went topless in any society. Now that I look back on it, I wonder how much differantly they would have looked had they worn a bra Hey is this the association thread? |

Hah! I used to look at the nudies and the cars.
I'm just glad I'm not a woman, with all that extra clothing and "other" stuff you have to go through I'm not surprised the ancients, and even some today, thought women were cursed by the Gods. |

I didn't know that about the cursed beliefs. It got me laughing though because when I was young and scared about leaving home to go make a way for myself I wished that I had been a woman so I could leech off of some poor guy and not have to work. Some poor guy like myself at the time. |

Actually, in some of those societies, the droopier the boobs the better. Thats what they considered to be beutiful, just like the societies that think ppl are beautiful if they have a long neck, or an elongated forehead. The women would purposly go and stretch out their boosum. |

I think women of all shapes and sizes look beautiful when pregnant. I have found that even the most ordinary girl will look very attractive, in the face, when pregnant – it’s just something about their face that tells you that this person is special. |

I've never been pregnant yet but I imagine I would feel anything but attractive while walking feet astride and carrying a wheat sack in front of me. |

These days I think fertile women are built a bit differently than say 25-30 years ago. I see attractive women out there proud of their bumps which usually only look like they are carrying a basketball out the front. Look at Princess Mary and how elegant she was through her pregnancy and it had little to do with her status in life. She is obviously a good healthy specimen of a young woman. If a woman breast feeds she has more of a chance at getting saggy bosoms later on in life but if you don't have a lot to begin with, all the better for you later. I recently saw a young woman who was dressed very bohemian with the layered skirt, low sandals, loose top which was beautiful with a caftan feel. I approached her after admiring what she had on and told her how great she looked. She was appreciative of the compliment which was given in all honesty. |

I can't stand to see pregnant women wearing crop tops or t-shirts with their enormous, stretch marked, navel popping out, belly hanging out. Yes, I get it, you're pregnant, OK, now put it away! I'm not saying that pregnant bellies are unnatractive, just that we as a society are getting very sloppy in the way we present ourselves. I say the same about fat men and women who let the flab hang out over their jeans. We should take more pride in our appearances! |

I think it's all a matter of choice and perception. I can't stand to see people with comb-overs. I feel so embarrassed for these people that it makes me feel uncomfortable to see them. It must be a genetic disorder that deludes these people into thinking it doesn’t look ridiculous. The guy who does the “Godfrey’s” ad is surely one of these delusional people and surely Donald Trump. All that money and he thinks he needs to pretend he isn’t going bald. |
