lol dara - I remember getting to year 12 and one of my teachers saying to us - THIS is the grade they like to teach because they can talk and joke with us - that there was no stupidity just fun times and times when to know to knuckle down and learn ... and it's true - it was for our 2003 class. I think all the tools drop out at around year 10/11 these days... so its brilliant fun by year 12 because you're all on the same level. I remember another teacher talking about that same dislike for years 8-10.. haha |

Lol!! I thought teachers hated the year 9's not 10's!
Haha, I don't hate the 10s. I'm just glad they made it and did so well. Then again, there is this one kid that I could cheerfully nail to a whiteboard... |

Haha! On camp the teacher that had our group was naming the people in our grade she hates haha!! It's true though, the older you get the nicer the teachers are to you and it's better because you know when to shut up, but you still have fun and stuff |

school was never like that in my day. didn't matter what grade you were in we were always treated as children. guess like everything else things change. though have noticed kids wanting to be treated like adults but when things don't turn out they want to be treated like kids. seems they like it both ways. just my thoughts, maybe i am getting old ? |

In my last year at school, at age 16, we used to come on our motorbikes. I guess the teachers had no option than to treat us like adults................or else.....mind you, this was 1958..........lol Oh happy days.............. |

I've 'won' back my year 10 coordinator position for 2008 and will have to 'deal' with this year's year 9s. I remember them as year 8s when I was year 8 coordinator and they were a bit of a handful. Year 12s are a great year to teach for all the reasons mentioned above. You see them start to really mature at the end of year 11. When I have a difficult year 8, 9 or 10 cohort I always cheer myself up by thinking "they'll be okay in year 12". It's always almost true. |

too attractive?? I dont think so nanny! I think its just the blonde hair and half decent smile that makes me get away with this and that. Hoefully I'm not some stuck-up twit either. I've noticed a lot of girls that are okay in the looks department put themselves so far up the ladder and really feel it is their right to kick people - because they have a good tan or something! GRRR...!!! and no dara... thats not me in the above pic - still just showing how different parts celebrate xmas. I'm such a dork but I like knowing! God, I REALLY need to travel! ps. I've found something up the coast for guess how much... just guess - $720!! I swear - you would think I were staying near cav av! pfft. |

2 nights dara! and I know..schoolies for me was half that price BUT I had 5 other girls going in on the apartment with me.. so, it would've been a $1500 + apartment. Schoolies I believe would rake in a bit more per apartment than the sunny coast but still... 720 for 2nights! omg... |
