I have always thought taking a year off to travel is a good idea, but not for everyone, I believe that you should do this while you are young and have no commitments, plenty of time for all that stuff, but as we know some people end up never settling down, and here they are at 40+ still going um . So yes its a big decission , good luck with it |

Nooooo! lurveit, nothing of the sort punkin'. I know kids and young adult hate being asked the questions.... How old are you now? What year are you in? What are you going to do when you grow up? What are you going to study at Uni? (as if everyone is expected to go to Uni) Speaking of traveling.... a word of advice that I gave a mate of mine 20 plus years ago. He was single and unattached. Toying with the idea of travel. I encouraged him to travel then, right then, no putting it off, leave tomorrow if possible. How I put it was...'If you meet the girl of your dreams tomorrow, get married next week, have a baby the next week you still have another 18 years of raising at least one child and making a home.' He did travel while he was footloose and fancy free. He met a girl he fell in love with in the USA, for a while anyway. Came back to Australia, settled down, started a business, got married etc etc. Travel is best savoured while young (under 50 at least ), fit and healthy. |

Dara, Dara, Dara you know to apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going into the sun! Then apply every hour after that, it doesn't work otherwise, well not how it's meant to anyway. |

Too late now, I just have red arms, and face, and back/front of my neck. Gross. I didn't have the opportunity to apply it did I |

Oh, I'm glad to hear Suzi aww dara - the worst is over by now I'm sure but get the aloe spray/lotion out to fix that skin fast. Lol, as some of you know - I LOVE the coast so I'm down there a bit and every now and then just HAPPEN to get sunburnt so a friend of mine got me an aloe tree - lol. Anyway, now, if I burn up I snap of a branch and squeeze that over it - feels soooo good - for that moment anyway. feel better soon dara - xx |
