And even if he doesn't still enjoy it, he'd be used to it.
This reminds me of a story about a 12 year old pair of underwear and a Teddy Bear named Sam that I had, but I'll save it for it's own thread.

Whoooohoooooo! Chris, lucky duck We want to pics of Johnny, Kiera, Orlando and Geoffrey (spelling?) Rush, thanks.

My car died the other night RIP Betsy   She was only 20 this year, a 4 door Toyota Corolla CSX It will cost twice what she's worth to get her fixed
So.... I can't afford it.
I am calling the undertakers (wreckers) to come pick her up before the end of the week. A six inch split is in a hose behind the radiator and while on a motorway the other night (9:30pm) I didn't want to stop just a couple of miles from home, heard the radiator blow off steam, the temp gauge was off the scale, she limped home, I got one house from where I live and she died, I coasted to a nice position next to the curb and there she has stayed. I put a big watering can full of water in her yesterday and it ran straight through the hose and the front of the radiator like a waterfall!
The head gasket is cactus so..... bye bye little car. I will have to get my good mountain bike back off my daughter Luckily I now live near a bus stop, it's a flat good walk to the shops I frequent, a nice ride to the library, and my daughter can help (she's offered) if I need her
I kept my cool when steam was pouring out of my bonnet but had my handbag handy and my seat belt off, just in case I needed to vacate the vehicle in a hurry!!

The same thing happened to me 3 years ago, Suzi.  I had a car fuLL of students heading for a debating event when poof she conked out in the middle of the road, 6 pm mid week.

Poor kids had to get out and push and I could see those headlines... "TEACHER CHARGED WITH FAILING IN DUTY OF CARE - Students run over by passing cars"

Replace the faulty hose and Buy a little bottle of Chemi-weld Suzi, it works wonders and might keep your car on the road for a while.
I had a Hillman Hunter about 20 years ago that did the same thing, ie,leaky radiator and blown head gasket.  One small bottle did the trick and we kept it for 3 years as the second car and it never skipped a beat.
I would not recommend using it on a decent car but as you are going to scrap it anyway it may be worth a try.

Thanks for that LB but I have called the wreckers to take her away. A friend of a friend however wants to fix it up for himself and will pay me $80. for it AND take it away plus no matter what I decide to do, I have 4 months rego due when I hand in the plates
I know what you suggested could work, (coz you said so) but I have Diabetes and high blood pressure and don't need the stress of wondering 'when is it going to conk out?'
I just want to be rid of it! Cheers

Did the boys go around hitting all the girls on the arms?! Heh heh! And was it something parents had to give permission for? Did any girls decide not to get the vaccine?

Of course. I don't think anybody would feel comfortable with psycho doctors running around randomly stabbing girls in the arm with chemicals.

If anybody has already received the vaccine or are deathly afraid of needles, then I'm sure they would have rejected the vaccine.

I've lost the reference but several States in the US have banned the vaccination on religious grounds saying that it encourages young girls to have sex, and the likelihood of getting cervical cancer is a good deterrent to that.

So the religious right believes girls getting cervical cancer is preferable to them having sex.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

I think the immunisation against cervical cancer is a wonderful thing. What a weight off, for a woman, to have that immunity. Fantastic !!

Latest on my dear little car....
The deal fell through with the guy that wanted to buy it because he wanted me to transfer the rego into his name. The problem with that is my ex husband of 3 years was too tight to transfer the rego over to me, 100% and he was still on the rego as half owner! Plus I was pretty sure I would get around $100 for handing the plates in So the wreckers were to come round.... but wait... another friend of a friend has a car exactly the same and wants my car for spare parts. I gave him the car, minus the plates, and it has gone to reside in someone else's garage. I got a refund of $107. back for the  return of the number plates.   I am happy with the result! I caught my first bus the other day, in 25 years. Being on a 'disability Pension' it cost me $1.10. For a taxi the same distance.... $7. I have walked to two shopping centres in the past week to buy groceries which is a 100% increase in my walking
