Normally when the Northern Hemisphere has weather like they are it follows that the Southern Hemisphere follows with a bitterly cold winter and heaps of snow

My advice to those sweltering.... stay in air-conditioning or in a shade covered pool. If that's not possible, empty the fridge and get in it

Don't flip out, it's about to cool down
ELISSA DOHERTY CHRIS PEPPER
January 09, 2010 11:30pm

SOUTH Australia sweated through - and survived - a scorcher yesterday, with temperatures across the state soaring to more than 40C in many centres.

Wudinna recorded the highest temperature of 45C, while Adelaide sweltered through a maximum of 41.3C.

And there's more in store tomorrow before a cool change sweeps through the state and brings the mercury down into the 20s.

Kill me... I can't sleep. It's 3.21am and still 31 degrees and all I have is a piddly little fan on me. Parents won't let us use the aircon so we can sleep in the lounge...

@ Matt

1. How about sleeping on the balcony or in the garden or

1. A ventilator or

2. A shower without drying afterwards and cover with a summer blanket (blanket with perforation)
or wet a sheet and roll yourself in it ?

Unfortunately I can't send you a truckload of snow and ice. We've got heaps of it !
