A hell of a storm just whipped up the coast from the south west. It ripped through here with Maroochydore just getting the edge of it. It centred between here and Noosa. Short and swift and is now headed out to sea. There were 175 lightning strikes in the region during the storm. Before it hit the heat and humidity was almost unbearable. The worth we've had since October. A southerly ripped through with it bringing some much welcome relief.

It's cold, wet and windy in the west. Looks like we've had our summer and Autumn is on it's way.

Well, the weather of late has been hot and humid and somedays almost unbearable.
yesterday evening after sunset clouds moved in, a very cool northerly sprang up, thunderstorms formed off the beaches and we had 2 inches of rain overnight. This morning the sun is out so guess how humid it is now. One thing the Sunshine Coast does not lack is water. We must have the best rainfall in this little spot. No floods just a few inches of rain every week. Our water supply dam is 85% full!

Its going to be windy and 38 tomorrow, perfect weather for firebugs, unfortunatly. I suspect the CFS are going to be VERY busy.

What a dissapointment, it reached all of 30 degrees, and hardly any wind! No blue sky either. I guess its good news for the CFS though...
