^Maybe it's Mean Dean! lol just joking. I know lame joke.

I can't believe how childish they're being to you and Shelly. You should really get that restraining order or just keep igoring them... maybe they'll stop then.   hopefully anyway.

Keep documenting everything and if he becomes threatening, call the cops or at least lodge a complaint.

oh suzi... I'm so sorry - look, if you lived on my side of town I would be more than happy to go pick you up a let you stay at mine until we could figure something out.

The way that they all interact with each other is a joke! Do not any of them have lives to lead rather than annoy their neighbours or simply you!!

Oh it makes me so angry!!!

...I have to say though suzi, I don't really talk to my neighbours just a simple smile and 'morning' does me. It sounds terrible but this is where I live and if they are odd-balls just waiting to find their next small amount of life through harrasing the new neighbour - than I'm happy with a casual 'morning' ... smile... now get in the car!

See.. they still know I'm alive - I still know they're alive and life is good. lol

Oh suzi, I'm really sorry to hear about these idiots you're forced to live with - if there's ANYTHING I can do to help just tell me.

xx

Thank you punkin', you brought tears to my eyes from your kindness and empathy.
12:30 last night banging on my bedroom window again but I was on a good mattress in the loungeroom where my aircon is. It got up to 35 deg in my loungeroom yesterday, beautiful in my loungeroom sleeping last night though. Got down to 17c. Loved it. Slept in until 8:45am
I am keeping tabs (records) on everything. It is a proven fact that when an Apprehended Violence Order comes into play the violence normally escalates considerably sometimes becoming deadly. Don't want that to happen, so am trusting that some of my neighbours at least have a few brains between them and get tired of Dean's histrionics and infantile behaviour. I mean what he did to me on Friday was verbal assault. What he is doing of a night time and with my friend Shelley yesterday was/is harassment. I'll give it to the middle of March before it has all blown over.
It's tedious.
My daughter has invited me to dinner at her place one evening this next week, I was hesitant at first and she said 'Don't let them control your life Mum' and she is right and one evening next week I will have the first evening meal with my daughter at her place since June last year!
They will not win, guys, I am stronger, I am better than that. This is where I can afford to live and this is where I am staying. My BF came around today and we had a great time just all closed up in my lovely little air conditioned unit. We cooked up a storm and enjoyed each other's company.

Well, I didn't post before because I didn't know what to say, but I will now. That guy sounds totally and utterly pathetic. What a bogan, honestly. What's he doing up at those times banging on your window? NO LIFE! It sounds pretty scary, hopefully it does all blow over, once he makes such an idiot of himself everyone will hopefully drift away, since humans tend to flock to the winning side. Just make sure you always lock your door!!
Sorry I'm not really helping, but I thought I should say something.

I'm a bit late reading this thread...but bad neighbours are everywhere SuziH, so stay put if you feel you can. I have violent (to themselves) neighbour on one side. Cops call on them quite regularly and all neighbours talk about them. They are noisy, fight and people and cars come in and out all day and night and they have lots of barking dogs and rubbish. Often they put rubbish in my bins...but I don't complain, at least it is going away. I try to smile and not let them know they get to me.

GOODBYE fellow eBlah's .....it sure has been nice meeting yo'all here and I will miss everyone of you

This guy sounds really childish. The fact he is banging on your window at all times of the night and the general manner in which he is treating you is not on at all. I would leave it maybe a couple of weeks and see if it has all blown over. In the mean time, like Paula said document it all and if it is still continuing after that time I would look at getting a restraining order. Anyways hopefully there are happier days ahead

Thank you all for your mature and helpful input. Our youngest regular poster is far more mature that a lot of 40 year olds out there
This morning, after leaving both front and back outside lights on all night it was a different tactic from the Drama Queen (sorry to all sensible gay people). He let his dog out (my beautiful little friend Wishbone) and stirred him up out the front of my place getting him to bark over and over. I rolled over and went back to sleep! Problem with that is all our front doors are within an area of 100 square foot of each other so he is not only trying to annoy me (not happening) but other neighbours are copping it as well. My BF said yesterday, 'he is going to bring himself unstuck' and yes, I believe he will, very soon. This guy (my neighbour) is 39 in march and has been unemployed since 30 years of age, slipping through the cracks at Centrelink. Recently he was 'found' by Centrelink once more and made to do a training course for care of the elderly and infirm. He is 3 weeks into a 7 week course at the end of which he should have a full time job. He thought he would be feeding these people in Nursing homes and reading them stories.
The shock horror of it is he will be showering, bathing and wiping people's bottoms. Cleaning up unspeakable messes and generally being grossed out. Karma came early for the Drama Queen. That's the karma for not getting of his bum and getting a job for almost 9 years..... the karma for his treatment of me is yet to come

Yes, Candy there are bad neighbours everywhere and like you I have lived next to some in my 22 years of renting BUT none as vexatious and infantile as this person.
My friend Shelley and my BF are being very supportive, understanding and believing of me, some other's (not mentioning names) are saying 'I only know your side of the story so I am not sure what really happened'. That person has previously said 'You do not have to justify yourself to anyone'.
Essentially it is a case of 'He said, she said' except the 'She' could not be bothered to play the 'game'. By the way I am not afraid of the Drama Queen because he is a coward and full of hot air.

Didn't find out until last evening that Dean and Eva bailed up my daughter when she was leaving here last friday. They told her I had told Eva that Kat smoked Ice! WTF! They also mentioned that I do not declare money earned from minding my honorary grand daughter Abby (like $20 every 3 weeks ) and Kat asked them how she could help rectify the 'problem' and they said 'get your mother to move'. Kat asked couldn't we all sit down and discuss this and fix it and they both said 'no, it's past fixing'. I wish Kat had told me earlier about the convo as since then Shelley has been bailed up twice and heaven knows if they did the same to my BF. Just when my life is at it's very best in 52 plus years this happens. Yesterday Eva bailed up Shelley and Abby (7 years old) and said next time I have Abby 'they' will be ringing the Child protective services and that I should be declaring all the money I make from minding Abby. Their beef is also that I am not a qualified child carer and should not be minding children. Does any of this make any sense at all? NO! Does this sound absolutely stupid to anyone else reading this? I was livid, absolutely full of anger when my daughter told me what they'd said re drug taking. I went off. Today I am ringing Centrelink to ask some questions and get all the help I can. Tomorrow I am attending the Dr's at 9am ish and afterwards will walk to the Court House to check out the AVO's. This should all have blown over by now, in NORMAL circumstances but a woman who has lived almost all of her life in Communist Latvia and a Drama Queen who thinks he is the boss of the units having lived here for 8 odd years are obviously not what we would consider 'normal'.

It sounds like the two of them are morons who are invading your privacy.  I'd also talk to the landlord/council about them, stating the above incidents.

Hey.... can you hear it? No? It's the sounds of silence!! Nothing, touch wood, for 2-3 days except the little dog yapping at times but I just put my 80's and 90's music on to drown out the noise outside when that happens. No tapping or banging on windows and doors because my flat has both front and back lights on all night and someone else was kind enough to put my bins out for collection last night! Heheheheh, I am however never going to speak to or acknowledge any of my neighbours ever again! Still keeping records of every thing though. Not not not letting my guard down.

Awww Shucks punkin' thanks

Yes, my almost 31 year old daughter, they ambushed her when she was almost in her car. These people think they can say things to make my friends and family turn their backs on me, hahahahahahahah so funny! They have obviously never had good family or good friends. Stew-pid people. Plus what they are saying is lies, which makes it even more stupid. Checked with Centrelink and I can make $132. per fortnight on my disability pension before it affects my pension! The guy I spoke to thought it was so trivial he did not even record that I make $20 every 3-4 weeks from minding Abby. Petty small minded stew-pid people. Don't let it ruin your life, is what I would love to say to them but I am making a point of not even speaking out loud when out of my unit in my yard.
