Stargate SG1 is in it's 10th season. How great is that? Stargate Atlantis is in it's 3rd. When they were talking about another Stargate who among us thought it would be... could be... this successful. These shows are great. |

it's never been a 30min show. its on at 11.30 here in sydney too, but it finishes at 12.30... |

The eBroadcast TV Guide always does that to shows that run from 11:30pm to 12:30am... if you click on the Late Night Shows Link you will find Stargate runs from Midnight to 12:30am as well and reads as a half hour show in that section too: STARGATE SG-1 Broadcast Date: Thursday 5 October 2006 Channel: Free to Air / Seven Broadcast Time: 12.00 amClassifications: Science Fiction, Drama, M Timeslot Duration: 30 minsOfficial title/weblink if available: STARGATE SG-1 It seems to be just the way the guide is setup that it shows up like that in such incidents of 1 hour programs going from "Night" to "Late Night" in the links there. |

just in case anyone missed it in the tv guide (as I did) Stargate Atlantis is on tonight at 11.30pm

I love Stargate SG1. Love Jack & Daniel. I never could take to Atlantis. I tried ... but I just didn't like it. I hope SG1 comes back to Ch7 sometime this year.  |

Good news for us Stargate fans. In January of this year, MGM made a commitment to continuing to the Stargate franchise by giving the green light to Stargate: The Arc of Truth, which begins production on April 15 and Stargate: Continuum which will feature the epic ice camp scenes, and resumes filming on May 22. Written and produced by Brad Wright and Robert Cooper, Stargate: The Arc of Truth and Stargate: Continuum will include the following Stargate SG-1 cast members: Ben Browder, Amanda Tapping, Chris Judge, Claudia Black, with Beau Bridges and Michael Shanks. Richard Dean Anderson will be reprising his role as General Jack O'Neill for Stargate: Continuum.
Both of the movies will be direct to DVD. Now if Ch 7 will only air season 10 as it would be good for the people who haven't seen it to know what is going on before the movies come out.
In other news. With SG1 finished, Amanda Tapping will travel to the Pegasus galaxy to join the Atlantis cast and reprise her role as television’s favorite astrophysicist, Lt. Colonel Samantha Carter. She will appear in 14 of the season’s 20 episodes.

Anyone else looking ofrward to seeing the Stargate series? Stargate Universe I think it is called and I think it premieres in the US on 2 October 2009. It does have Lou Diamond Phillips in it and I really like him so may watch...Unfortunately none of the SG1 people from Stargate or Atlantis will be in it which is a shame as I loved both series. |
