My theory is that he (Kim's boyfriend) is the next inside bad guy.  After all I'm sure there was something said about him knowing the Peter Weller character (or Kim being referred to him by Peter Weller).

And good to see Peter doing something other than Robocop

I guess it's possible. Now didn't one of the terrirosts mention they have more people on the inside of CTU (or what's left of it) or am I just making this up.

I thought a similar thing actually, unless it's just made to look like he's a baddie to throw us off the track of some other baddie that we haven't figured out yet!... lol I love this show and trying to think up all the possibilities... hurry up tonight so I can find out!  

I don't know about Jack going outside the room and holding his breath though... surely they could contact some outside agency or another branch to come in and get them some masks so they can get out of there safely... ?

Mabey its just me but i can't figure out a few things. Like what was the point of the first hostage situation? Wouldn't it have been eaisier to just get the gas without telling the whole country that they were there. And were did that girl get the gun to kill the old guy with? How did Walt cummings hang himself from a light fitting? seems a bit impossible!! And what happened to jacks broken ribs?

You don't REALLY think that do you? By the end of this series you will be saying 'Martha, you go girl' and we may have once queried Mike's loyalty (like in the first season before we knew him) but not anymore. Another great bloke is Aaron one of the 'President's men' through the series'.

The purpose of the hostage situation was not to just steal the nerve gas but to actually stop the president from signing the arms treaty. Because he refused the terrorists planned on using the gas against Russia and well you know how that turned out.

As for how Cummings hanged himself, all will be explained in upcoming episodes

Getting extremely close to spoiler territory here... any chance you can refrain from discussing things we will see in the future?

Firstly, what a great bi-episode last night.  I think a lot more tension in this series than in the last.

And slightly off topic, being a new poster, I was thinking what is the etiquette regarding posting about episodes (ie as some people tape it how specific can we be)
